It looked like a magazine she'd been reading.

Yes, and in a lesser production, she'd just be portrayed as "the enemy" because the main characters don't like her, she's not warm and she has no real friends. But I love that this show gives her much more depth and makes you realize, she's not evil, she's just unlikeable, and honestly, if it were my child being

Or furniture! Often, women who are starting over have no money to furnish their new apartment. The one where I live will come pick up the furniture, too.

Oh, good catch. I totally forgot that part. I just knew Jane had to have met Ed if Ziggy was spending that much time at his and Madeline's house.

And he goes on long business trips a lot. Plenty of opportunity.

Well, I'm only assuming the rapist is one of the husbands b/c the show seems to be working its way up to that. But Jane went looking for Saxon Banks and found Saxon Baker living in San Luis Obispo and realized it wasn't him.

Also, she got in trouble w/ Madeline for overstepping already. Maybe she's trying to be hands-off b/c Abigail isn't her daughter and something this big should be handled by Nathan and Madeline together (if they were actually of a mind to be, y'know, adult about it, and speak with one voice to their daughter, rather

Right? And Bonnie initially telling Nathan about it and trying to put the best possible spin on it ("good…cause…?") like that's going to soften the blow. ARE YOU KIDDING?

Madeline seems to actually care what happens to Jane, so I'd say the fact that having Jane around as someone with whom she can air complaints about Renata is a bonus.

Please tell me there's gonna be a spinoff that's all about Elijah in his basketball musical. Please oh please oh please…

I literally laughed out loud because in the minute before he said what he was singing, I thought, "whatever happened to Smash?" b/c the auditions were the only thing I watched on Smash and his audition reminded me of that terrible, terrible show.

So if we're assuming one of the husbands is Jane's rapist, is it safe to assume it's Perry? She's already met Nathan and Gordon, and I would think now that Ziggy is having sleepovers and play dates with Chloe and Ed works at home, she'd have also met him by now? Plus, Saxon Baker the faux guy looks nothing like Ed and

Me too. When she said she'd made a big mistake, the natural response would be to ask, 'what mistake?' but he didn't. I assumed that meant he knew and didn't want to hear it.

That was a great scene. I love how this show makes me veer between disliking Renata to sympathizing with her. None of the characters are one-dimensional.

I actually gasped aloud when he said it. Like, I'm sure he thinks it, but so rarely would we see an abuser admit to his victim that he knows what he's doing.

Please stop making me cry. Biden would have mopped the floor with Trump's orange cotton candy head if he'd run. MOPPED IT.

Holy crap, is that an adorable dog. Look at his widdle bowtie!

I typed the exact same thing and you beat me by a millisecond.

Nicely done.

My husband literally just yelled this at the TV. "Tell them he's being bullied! The psychologist said so!"
