I think he's incredibly lucky to have been able to parlay his love of Doctor Who into a career that seems to be really fulfilling and enjoyable for him. I'm impressed the guy finds time to sleep - I saw him do a Nerdist podcast at last year's Comic Con and he let drop the fact that he was doing two podcasts on top of

I saw their Boston talk. Worth it. Really, really worth it. My husband could only watch two episodes because he was too enraged to watch the rest, and even he was hanging on every word of the lecture.

I love that the guy in the orange jumpsuit sitting on the wrong side of the prison table is the one person whose advice Richard actually listens to.

I can't name another show on television right now that can consistently reduce me to actual, falling-off-the-couch tears besides Veep and Silicon Valley.

As a public figure on a widely viewed network, it's almost guaranteed there's a clause in his contract that he refrain from behavior that would negatively impact his image and his employer, lest they exercise their right to terminate his employment. They were well within their rights to do so, especially since he's

Til I visited Maine, I had NO idea Moxie was an actual drink. I've had it once. Tastes like root beer that's gone off.

I love this assessment of their relationship. I'd add, though, that Jimmy's schemes tend to work because he's good at gauging human reaction and emotion. But his blind spot is Chuck. Because he loves Chuck, he doesn't fathom he'd sink to the depths that Jimmy knows other people are absolutely capable of.

Tell me about it. The Venn diagram of the shows my husband and I enjoy watching together encompasses BCS, Game of Thrones and Silicon Valley, which comprises MAYBE 30 percent of the totality of our TV life. Otherwise, one of us sucks it up and plays around on FB on the couch while the other watches Mythbusters, Top

You got it exactly right. Amy and Rory were hands-down my favorite companions and I always wonder about the almost-unbearable level of awesome that might have been if they'd traveled with Ten instead.

My husband agrees with the first part of your comment. I agree with the second. We have arguments about this (he thinks Eleven is the better reboot).

I remember watching that episode with a bunch of college classmates and when she sloooowly removed the wig, we did indeed lose our shit. Like, screamed and threw popcorn. Man, I miss that show.

Absolutely agree. In the first few episodes in which Hank appeared, he was kind of a jerk to Walt, teasing him and generally acting like a good ol' boy but not hostilely, just in a "my brother-in-law is a little hard to take" kind of way. And then oh so subtly as the show wore on, you realize he's actually the hero of

Carol is the MVP of the show. I'm convinced nothing would get done on that network without her keeping it all together. I love how her personal life is completely screwed up but by god, she's a winner in the office.

Oh god, that episode. That was the one episode where I actually wanted to punch Michael Scott in the face. With David Brent, every episode felt kind of punch-worthy.

Don't forget to smile with all your teeth, but don't let the smile reach your eyes.

Agreed. The UK version is more painful to watch and therefore elicits more visceral reaction. I think I've watched it three times and literally every time, I find myself curling up into a ball, looking away, shrieking, "stop, stop it! Stop doing that!"
The US version is more charming. I guess we Americans can't stand

I didn't know that! Could Saul argue that, say, Huell is an associate because he's technically "associated" with the firm, if he ever had to? I feel like that's totally an argument Saul would make. Or does "associate" presume another attorney?

I always assumed the associates were imaginary and Saul added them as an extra touch to make his law firm appear more solid and monied than it really was.

Oh man, you just took me back to my childhood. I remember being open-mouthed at the terrorist wedding guests - this was when I was young enough to swallow that scenario whole and say with no irony, "OMG, how am I going to last the entire summer without knowing who died?!?"
And then to find out the dead comprised the

Yeah, I know, but I can dream. She's the most grounded woman in his life but NOT being romantically involved is what keeps her grounded.
