Never a baguette or loaf unless it is sliced for starters. Must be sliced bread. But, generally, it would have to be high quality white to go white. I don't like the bread retainer it makes on the roof of my mouth.

I would argue that there are a number of people in this thread who are troubled by it and it would, by extension, be troubling.

I just generally don't like white bread, but I do love a good grilled cheese on sourdough.

And tomato. And Gouda (used to be Fontina).
