I can see your argument if you say it isn't financially relevant, but the engaged new mom part of it feels like a value judgement. She was paid to attend a function with her mom and an old dude. I don't see that it demonstrates poor values because she is someones mom or fiancee.

Not true. I hate him and I hate Julie Delpy. Those movies did nothing but raise the degree to which that is true.
