For my generation (Y), I'd wager that the internet is basically to us what TV was/is to previous generations. I rarely idly watch TV... I only watch shows I actively want to watch. But, I do certainly idly surf the internet. I see it as an improvement. Instead of watching un-funny sitcoms or something, I'm usually

I'm confused. Given my history, this thing should have left me totally terrified. And yet, seeing it eating a carrot, I'm not bothered at all. Weird.

As long as the quality of the single player campaign (or PVE) doesn't suffer, I don't care. Many of my favourite games have multiplayer components that I totally ignore. This one needn't be any different.

Yeah, I have the same (mkIIs), and they've treated me great. I'm sure one can do better, but for the money, these things are awesome. Very neutral and clear. I can mix knowing that the speakers aren't boosting the crap out of the lows or scooping the mids.

900 bucks... I'll stick with my Mackies...

I'm enjoying Skyrim generally. But, it's no Mass Effect or Dragon Age:

Lol. Going through Wikipedia's lists of each console's exclusives:

I just downloaded the iOS version... whatever it's called. For 2 dollars I got a helluva lot more than 3 tracks and 5 cars... I don't know what they're thinking, if they intend to release a similar portable game with like 1/8 of the feature set, for presumably a lot more money.

If I ever don't live in the city, I need a house exactly like that. That is just beyond cool!

Awesome! I remember having one, and the school going nuts about kids having them in class. I should see if I can find it again... I'm sure it's lying around somewhere.

Indeed. I've gotten a pretty good handle on the Paradigm system at this point, and have more or less gotten comfortable with each of the characters' strengths. What still has me a bit puzzled are the items and the crafting thereof. I'm finding it difficult to commit to certain weapon strategies, and dump significant

Sounds pretty good! I'll definitely be picking this one up. Overall, I'm enjoying XIII (yet to finish it... I take a while with RPGs). But, indeed some of the game mechanics are a bit off-putting relative to previous games.

There's definitely truth to this. I considered quite a few Android phones before making my decision... Sony Ericsson Arc (S), Galaxy SII being the top contenders... but the fact that I've been using iTunes for years and quite like it, the fact that I use a Macbook (which I love) with mostly Apple software for most of

Nothing yet. But I hoarded Teddy Bears in Fallout 3. I'm quite confident that I had every Teddy Bear in the game piled up on the bed in my house in Megaton.

Hmph. Good to know. Last time these issues happened with Oblivion/Fallout/whatever on the PS3, were they eventually patched and fixed? I played those games on PC, and this is my first Bethesda PS3...

I'm with you on this one. There's a bit of room for that 3.5" screen to grow. But, having tried some of those bigger-screened Android phones, I can safely say I wouldn't want to put something the size of a Galaxy SII in my pocket. I mean, the Galaxy SII is 10mm taller, 7mm wider, and 0.8mm thinner. In phone terms,

In general, in terms of tech stuff, I prefer to stay minimal. Really all I have on me with any frequency are my Macbook and iPhone. I've never, in 7 or so years of cellphone ownership, had my phone completely run out of a charge. My laptop has died here and there, but that's still maybe 5 times in 3 years since I got

My 4S was fine to begin with. And it's still fine. Update worked flawlessly.

I'm sure loads of people who find this behaviour hugely annoying partake in it themselves. They think they're being considerate. They think that their headphones don't leak insane amounts of noise. They think they aren't listening to anything nearly loudly enough for it to happen. But, of course, they're wrong.

Good. Took them long enough. Maybe this will be the catalyst that moves us on to better things than that resource hogging piece of shit.
