This just seems like technicalities to me. I haven't seen it, but the general consensus seems to be that the display on the Galaxy Nexus is amazing. Whether or not it can be called "Retina"... why does that matter? Has that term gone from being an Apple marketing term to an accepted display performance classification

Man. It's good to be in Canada and not on CDMA. My 4S got 4.7 down and 1.8 up on Telus.

I'm seeing one thing I like already: Phones that aren't the size of tablets, and actually fit in my pocket. The Android manufacturers seem to think that flagship phones needs to be enormous.

Yeah... the desktop I built myself in 2006 had lesser specs than some of these phones! Technology, I tell ya!

It's nice to see some reasonable people out there :)

Yeah, on a phone. On anything else, I honestly have no idea.

I'll agree, it isn't a new notion. Google's certainly tried it in Android. And it isn't as good as Siri, so he's trying to justify Android's inferior implementation of it.

136mm x 68mm x 8.8mm, if I read that image correctly.

I never really used any of Google's more advanced features. Not for personal use, at least. And I definitely tried them. It's not like I'm too stupid to figure them out, I just didn't care.

The original Razr was basically the best phone Motorola ever made. It was pretty damn durable, for one thing (unlike the Motorola phones I was unfortunate enough to own). I knew people who were still using their Razrs in 2010. Makes sense to run with that positive brand recognition.

Mine maxes out at 15Mbps down. I'm in Canada, where fibre optic probably means considerably less :p

4G phones are that fast now? That's faster than my fibre optic internet usually is! Down and up!

Clearly the service is still in its infancy. But, what is there works for me. The fundamentals (calendars, contacts) work well. I had zero issues transitioning from Google to iCloud in that respect. The Photostream doesn't really come as a surprise to me. That's exactly as it was advertised. I'm guessing Apple isn't

Yeah, I agree. If I had a 4, I wouldn't upgrade. But, I have a Nokia E71. So... I'm thinking it'll be worth it.

None of the above. I'll be getting one soon, but not today. And on Telus. Believe it or not, an entire world exists outside America. GAWD!!! (j/k)

Does interior views for every car mean the distinction between "standard" and "premium" cars is basically gone? Are the exteriors of the standard cars "premium-ized"? That would be nice.

Count me among those late to the party. I'm writing on it right now... my late 2008 unibody Macbook. I bought it because I wanted a laptop for school, so I could actually get work done at school, without having to rely on the ever crowded computer labs. And I wanted it to be reliable and mobile. When the unibody

The feature doesn't actually cost anything unless you use the phone, it seems.

Damn. I guess that explains why Gizmodo was loading so slow.

I'll stick with my Kindle 3. This one, even the touch version, don't really add anything new that I want. If anything, it sounds like this one is a bit of a step down.
