I'm 6' tall and weigh about 160 pounds (73kg). I have a pretty difficult time putting on muscle, and an even more difficult time keeping it on. I mean, I was sick for about 2 weeks in early July and lost about 4kg of muscle in that time. I've yet to gain that weight back. I need roughly 2500 calories per day to

Seconded. I eat pretty healthy every day. Rarely break 2500 calories a day, usually out of sheer not being hungry enough. I'm always conscious of my protein/carb/fat intake, and try to keep everything nice and balanced. I also exercise very regularly. When I go to eat at a restaurant once every few months, I'll get

As I've said before, for text-oriented reading, nothing beats e-ink. I'm happy with my Kindle, but I don't think there's really a bad option out of the ones listed. Colour would be better if you're doing more graphic-heavy reading. The Nook seems like a good choice. The iPad is a tablet, not an e-reader. Its uses go

About 150mb a month. But, I'd probably use quite a lot more if my phone made better use of it. I usually just surf a few RSS feeds in the morning in bed as part of my wake-up routine. The poor old E71 can barely handle anything more strenuous, in terms of web surfing. The rest is mostly made up of e-mail. Once I get a

Save for the weird use of the surround sound setup, I like it. I aspire to something like that some day, albeit a bit less glowy and beverage oriented. Just my Macbook, audio interface, and monitors. Synthesizer and guitar to the left. None of this crazy clutter I have now.

There's no cut and dry answer here. I'd say:

And thirded. The music in my iTunes library will fit on any drive, really. 32gb isn't that much. I don't mind having that all on my laptop. Hell, I prefer having it all on my laptop. But, the videos are the problem. I have some TV shows downloaded in iTunes, which total a good 65gb.

Seconded. Nothing available for the 3DS really interests me yet. Though, the price is actually reasonable now. I think that will help a fair bit already. If some totally awesome game were released for it, I'd even consider picking one up. Though, I'm still much more interested in the Vita (games).

Ugh. Definitely remember those days. I was pretty young at the time... 5ish, if I had to guess. Every time I wanted to play Commander Keen or something, I'd have to find a piece of paper on which my dad had written the executable's file path, and painstakingly type everything in. Fortunately, that's pretty much all I

Agreed. If I were looking for another 13" notebook right now, the only thing keeping me away from the 13" Air would be the lack of a firewire port, which the 13" Pro does have. And, realistically, most people probably don't care about that. The 13" Air is pretty much as good or better in every other way now.

I'm guessing this will basically be the next Macbook Pro. As long as it has serviceable dedicated graphics and firewire, I'm in. I don't need a built-in optical drive. A USB superdrive or whatever would be just fine. I literally only use it to rip CDs. I don't need a whole extra drive built into my laptop for that.

I get the feeling that the appeal of portable gaming is very regional these days. When you're crammed into an average-for-your-city 400 square foot apartment, the idea of having a portable gaming system instead of something hooked up to your TV probably seems much more appealing.

I've always like David Boreanaz. But, I can't say he'd fit the roll better than Nathan Fillion.

I've always liked them. And, I was also one of those people who loved Metal Gear Solid 4's cinematic nature. It really drew me into the story.

My printing days are over... for the moment. As a geologist, when I finally find work, I'll be printing oodles of massive maps on a plotter. But, I'm still unemployed, so our forests can rest easy for a while longer.

Ditto. Man that looks annoying.

Can't see this working at my former university. Well, it might work, but any computer you'd get out of it would be a good 7+ years old...

Blargh! I hate seeing figures like this. I love the Air. My dad has one, and it is really a joy to use. So light! So quick (SSD)! Makes my aluminum Macbook seem big and heavy... which is just ridiculous!

So, Flash is still a massive resource hog? Noted.

Hm. I was going to upgrade today, but I'm holding off. I just picked up Logic Studio and Native Instruments Komplete 7, the latter of which won't be updated to 64-bit support in Lion until September. So, I'll be waiting until that works. I also want to make sure that CS5 and Office 2011 are working properly.
