One is possible; one is impossible.
One is possible; one is impossible.
I don’t get it. He’s not working a 9 to 5, he must have had an estimated due date why not just schedule the tour at a time he knew the child wasn’t due to be born.
Bruce Campbell told a story about hearing a movie pitched as “Die Hard, but in an office building!” Everyone was confused, but I assume the person who said it had only seen Die Hard II.
“Blade Runner meets Tommy Boy”
A couple other things - Annapurna kinda sucks at advertising. The advertising for this film was almost non-existent. Also, it was a much lower budget movie, so they probably didn’t even spend they much advertising it. And the fact that it got released alongside some other big movies indicates that the studio had…
Yeah, the release time killed it. I’m glad they had the confidence in it to release it in a crowded field, and wanted it to come out toward the end of the school year, but even moving it into July would’ve helped it’s chances a bit.
I have only ever seen Beanie in What We Do In the Shadows as stupid baby vampire ‘Yennaaaaah’ but I love her and will watch anything with her moving forward.
He bought a house for his mom and moved into the “basement” because he has mental health problems and they figured that’s the safest arrangement for him. You can make fun of him for the stupid shit he said at the college show he just did but snarking on him for this seems extremely in poor taste to me.
He lives with his mom, or his mom lives with him (semantics), because they both agree it’s what is needed for his mental health, and that isn’t kind to be snarky about.
i had one today...of all the chicken sandwiches i have ever eaten, it was, by far, the most recent.
Between this and the transphobia, can we finally accept that however cool Dave Chappelle might have been once, he’s pretty much a terrible person now?
Abusers don’t universally abuse everyone they come in contact with. There are plenty of women Bill Cosby came in contact with who he didn’t rape. We’re more concerned with the 30-40 that he did. Why is this such a difficult concept to grasp?
Fucking Christ I hate those articles. Also see: “I paid down my student 200k loan debt in 3 years so can you.” And “I quit my job at 28 to pursue my passion.”
YouTube personalities are the penny stocks of social media!
how many of them were helped financially by their parents? everyone i know around my age who has bought a house (I’m 31) was helped by their parents. I am in California though
Yeah, your location is probably the single largest determining factor. A good percentage of my friends are smack in the center of the cohort that got most extremely fucked over by the housing bubble burst and/or job losses in the recession. Many were just graduating college or grad school when the economy tanked and…
Should have lead with the last sentence. It's becoming impossible even in the southern cities now.
I gave up after season one. BD Wong’s amazingness aside, it didn’t captivate me like it did the rest of the world.
Dammit, I was loving my high horse where I could scream “I’ve always hated Counting Crows!” to everyone beneath me, but then you reminded me that I *did* like that Colorblind song, if only because it was THE scene in Cruel Intentions. Ugh, guess I’m back here, with all you regular humans. Ugh.
This was my reaction. All the scenes were good or fine (a few great), but taken all together there was no point for most of them. Someone asked me what I thought of it and the only thing I could say was, “It was the most meandering plot-less movie I’ve ever seen but I mostly enjoyed it.” My husband vehemently…
