No AC? No thanks!

Glad to hear! I didn't mean to imply the company was shady—just that their SEO and marketing tactics are usually used by shady companies.

True, but the last sentence of the article is promising. Twitter has a strong dev team so I don't think it's far behind.

Thanks—that's kinda what I was going for. I'm not knocking Apple sales—it's just a paradox of sorts. The phone looks good, but people put a case on it (or any phone) to keep it looking good and protect it from accidents, while at the same time making it look not good.

I would say most users don't care if the phone "looks good" since they put it in a case anyway to protect their investment from their accident-prone selves (myself included).

I want my replaceable battery!! :(

2014 earnings reports are out there—take your pick. Their EPS & profit % are nothing special when compared to other fortune-500s.

Yep, if corruption didn't work, no one would do it.

Sad to see the "shady" SEO & marketing tactics. The concept seems brilliant though. Hope it's executed well.

Because government wasn't as expansive or corrupt back then :)

Why not change the licensing system? Wouldn't that simplify the system & stimulate growth here?

Just because you don't have the ambition to do so does not mean nobody does. If you think it's too hard to start any business, go to the root of that problem.

How can companies "not allow" manufacturing of anything to which they do not hold the patent?

That's true, but people are also free to start a new drug company to continue making the old drugs for which the patents have expired.

You're free to donate money to the pharmaceutical companies to help them recover the billions spent on R&D & FDA expenses :)

Can't wait til you get your hands on this for a similar review!

While I vehemently disagree with our narrator's repeated "woman drivers!" exclamations because I'm not a mouth-breather, this video of trials and eventual victory was too good not to post. Apparently she'd been going for twenty minutes before the video starts, and it takes her another 13 to get her car into the spot.

Gunbroker is awesome—I've bought most of my firearms from there. Unless you know an FFL/dealer, it's often the best market price.

Is it made of... WOOD!? Also, I've got wood.

Micro-USB has been around ~8 years and had a good run. I will gladly buy a new $5 cable that is much easier to plug in and has higher power & data throughput.

Hopefully the law will change. Given the average lifespan of a technology hardware standard, a market-driven one would have been a better route, though I'm sure you're well aware!
