IT nerd here. My gripe with this bell/whistle is the [I'm assuming] monthly charge. If someone already has a cellular data plan for their phone, why should they purchase another data plan for their vehicle (or tablet, or laptop, etc) if they're only going to use one of those connections at a time?

Yea, the Huey P is ugly, and it's traffic sucks, but it has a really gradual slope since it was initially built for trains. It still might fall into the Mississippi any day too.

I agree this one is bad, but the Lake Charles bridge is more scary to me. The only thing semi-soothing or cool about it is the crossing pistol iron work in the pedestrian sidewalk railing (Yes! there's a sidewalk on the interstate there!)
