Nice to know other people appreciate this band!

Same here.

Even the F1s are somewhat mediocre performance tires, but at least they are reasonably priced. I actually have all-seasons on the front and F1s on the back of my FoST. Worked wonders in the snow when I needed the back to step out around turns!

This scares me because I love the MK7 GTI and I was actually thinking of getting rid of my ST for one. Buuuuuut after all of the horror stories of poor build quality and turbos that go from providing boost to shredding metal like a spoon stuck in an in-sink erator, I think I’ll stick with my ST.

Not with the SMG, but if you find a 6 speed manual, there’s no denying that it’ll be a collectors car. I’d be hard pressed to find a single-clutch manumatic transmission that will appreciate (outside of a Pagani). You only have to look at the E46 M3 or Ferrari 355 and 360s which can’t match their 6 speed counterparts.

I’m a huge fan of these as well. We seem to be in the minority.

The 850 wont be a classic anytime soon, but it has aged gracefully. As for me, the Amazon/122 is one of the finest looking Volvos.

What did Clarkson call it - a misshaped artillery shell? Never have words been truer.

I thought it was Steve McQueen for a hot momento.

Not a fan of the wheels, but that’s one good lookin’ AMX.

As a marketer, we don’t lie, we rewrite the truth to make sure it’s glossier than actuality. Lying can be very dangerous to an organization and is not taken lightly.

shwing!

The 993 in all its permutations is impossibly good looking.

Old VW?

Clarkson is literally the reason why Top Gear is so popular today.

But actually Bill did help destroy our economy as well by forcing banks to create loans for underqualified borrowers (remember that little annoying term “subprime”?).

lol I meant Obama, but yeah - I’m sure every single US president could be found guilty of a war crime.

It gets those fuel economy numbers at EPA specific numbers, both of which are higher than the average speeds of the Model T. Sorry - the comparison is completely disingenuous.

Look at the speeds if you want to compare apples to apples, otherwise the comparison falls apart.

No. It’s indisputably incorrect. The average speed of a Model T is around 35 MPH. If we were to suppose that a Ford Fiesta were traveling at 35 MPH, can you really say it would get as much or less than 21mpg? Remember, he didn’t mention what car he was comparing the Model T to, just that there are cars (and presumably
