Westchester County is just over the border with the Bronx, which is part of NYC. The Tappan Zee is not all that far away from the City.

I also had a Neon (2001) and don’t regret it at all. It was my first car, bought new off the lot and the only auto I have ever owned. That car treated me well. There were quirks (I’m looking at you short piece of rubber hose in the coolant line), but I also learned much from having it.

Damn shame that they’re not using BlackBerry anymore.

NYC was a shithole before?

This is an issue for me. I’m definitely one of those who will buy a ticket last minute, usually from Stubhub, multiple times during the season. I’ve never had any issue with counterfeit tickets. Hopefully Stubhub can work something out on its end.

Sorry, Mr. President. I’m a big fan of yours, but this plan is no good. I’m quite happy with gas prices just the way they are. I hope they continue to fall.

I will NOT give up driving my own car no matter what. If NYC actually implemented this, I’m leaving.

As a native New Yorker, all I can say is: HELL NO! I already hate what’s happened to the streets here. This is just stupidity.

I don’t know where you see that the reviews have been all pretty bad. There have been plenty of good ones (AndroidCentral, Mashable).

I just meant that the Gizmodo review is a joke compared to the Crackberry one.

Actually Crackberry actually reviewed the Priv and wrote a corresponding article compared to this review.

Exactly!

The $ (other currencies for other countries) key has always been on a BlackBerry keyboard. The only one it’s not on is the Passport, but that only has 3 rows.

The Priv will be my (reluctant) entry into Android. I would have much rather it have BB10, but I understand why it doesn’t (for the record, BB10 is better than Android). Also, a physical keyboard will always be better than a touchscreen keyboard.

As a BlackBerry (and BB10) fan, I wish this device was running BB10. However, if I have to make my first foray into an Android phone, the Priv is how I will do it. I can only hope that it also has the gestures of BB10 (I know it already has the superior Hub).

I used to commute to Manhattan from the Bronx and the rare occassions I would drive to work (because of something happening after work) would be way more enjoyable for me than all the time I spent on the subway.

So John Chen didn’t know how to use an Android device after having used BB10 during his tenure as CEO? Big deal! He’s been using the better OS anyway.

As a BlackBerry enthusiast and current Passport owner, I’d much rather BB10 still be on this device, just with a better Android runtime. Hopefully, that comes to fruition.

And I’d say that my BlackBerry Passport works just great and runs the best mobile OS.

Sure a BB skinned Android is better than unskinned, but even then I feel like we’ll lose the gestures and such of BB10 (which to me is just one of the reasons it’s better than the other 3 OSs). Maybe they still support BB10 and put in that full Android runtime (as part of this deal, Google lets BB do that).
