So agreed.  IMO, driving stick makes you a better driver simply because you’re more engaged with the car.

You missed what’s probably the best one: Picture Password on BlackBerry Android devices.  It’s technically a secondary option to password/PIN/pattern, but once it’s set, you use picture password most of the time, with the exception of phone startup.

This sucks. I still buy CDs, as I know I own them, and then rip as needed. Best Buy was about the only place I could get them at a somewhat reasonable price.

I’ve lived in NYC all my life and have had a car for the last 17 years. This congestion pricing plan is such a bad idea. Manhattan is already provincial enough (too many people think NYC is only Manhattan), so now we’re going to make it a walled kingdom that those wealthy enough are able to dare drive into. De Blasio

Swipe up to go home?? Hmmmm sounds like something that’s been around for a while... like in BlackBerry 10 4+ years ago!

Notification badges? If they are what I think they are, I’ve had them on my Priv and KeyOne standard. Say hello to the BlackBerry Splat (not the actual name).

I picked up the Aim Controller with Farpoint like everyone else. I can really see this being a new way to do FPS in VR. I’ve enjoyed my time with Farpoint, and I’m sure that’s in big part to the Aim. Next up will be Arizona Sunshine.

Boston drivers are MUCH worse than NYC drivers.

I am also a BB10 to Android (through the PRiv) convert. BB10 blows Android out of the water. Just imagine BB10 with a Nougat runtime. Outside of that, I wish we could have a true BB10 skin for Android.

BlackBerry is still quite a thing. They may not be making phones in house, but they’re licensing that out and making the OS for them. Still would prefer usinga BlackBerry phone then anything else. Good on Ford for recognizing the talent.

I’m 38 but that’s what I did last year. I didn’t plan on it being 72 months but I also bought used.

Except it takes at least 3 days to get out there, which is fine if I’m staying out there for quite a bit. I only had 5 days though, so flying it is.

I was out Portland in August visiting my girlfriend, and having never been out to the West Coast ever (I hate flying and this was the first time since March 2001), she took me to see Mt. St. Helens. Took the drive all the way to Johnston Ridge. Wow that was a drive I’ve never done before, but that whole day was such

And this is one reason why I won’t give up physical media.

Sad that BlackBerry won’t be designing and making their own devices, but at least there will be “BlackBerry” devices around as they’re the only ones I want to use. Here’s hoping the third party manufacturers continue making physical keyboard devices and not just go the simple route.

A BlackBerry Classic just might be the device for her.

I certainly don’t see BlackBerry giving up, as much as you may want it to happen. I see them still putting out devices. While I still would have rather the Priv run BB10, it’s ok with Android (I still carry around my Passport for certain things).

I upgraded 2 of my PCs to Win 10 (including one that was in the Insider program before official launch). My main PC will stay on Win 7.

I also enjoy cars and driving, and wouldn’t think of living anywhere other than NYC.

As a native New Yorker who drives everywhere in the City, including Manhattan, it really is a shame that gas stations are disappearing in Manhattan. Granted the prices weren’t the cheapest, but if I needed gas in a pinch, I would buckled down and get a least a bit to get me back home to the Bronx.
