What sort of "catastrophic event" would require the "resetting" of the entire internet? And what exactly would resetting the internet do? Would it simply destroy all the information traveling across it? I would imagine that doing something like that would be even more catastrophic to the world than any event leading…

I was expecting these to function as webapps, but from what I've tried so far, they're just smaller tabs that only show the favicon of the current website. Not that useful, to be honest.

@Catalin Dan Deaconu: Well, a lot of people (myself included) really like the multitouch gestures on the Macbook trackpads. I often end up missing those features when I'm using a normal mouse. The price for the Magic Trackpad is absolutely outrageous, I agree, but the product itself is not.
