@Tuba1060: Doesn't it usually do that anyway?

@mac_daddy: My sarcasm has been eluded, also...

@mac_daddy: Well, you can always run iPhone apps on the iPad with that "magical" pixel-double thing that scales apps up to look horrible and difficult to use.

Being but a very small child who doesn't remember anything earlier than '93, since prior to that I did not exist, I always kind of brushed Devo off as "just another band that my mom likes back from her dinosaur times". Then I was browsing through iTunes, and came across "Something For Everybody" on the first page. I

@Coreboy: I'm sick of being too "mature" to make "That's what she said" jokes when the opportunity arises, but having the opportunity arise EVERYWHERE I LOOK.

@wasting_company_time: Yeah, I figured that, given I've never heard that word come out of anybody's mouth ever. I was messin' with ya.

@wasting_company_time: Yeah, I figured that, given I've never heard that word come out of anybody's mouth ever. I was messin' with ya.

@wasting_company_time: It's called...wait...what? I wasn't aware there was a word for that! Holy crap, what have I been missing?

@gijenny01: I'm sorry, I used the wrong term; while Android may not be "open-source", it is still a more open platform than Apple's iOS, since Google doesn't place as many restrictions on it, and it is capable of much more out-of-the-box than iOS devices. While "superuser access" requires hacking, the normal amount of

@Seeräuber Jenny: My apologies; sometimes I have trouble reading the sarcasm that text-based communications sometimes (well, usually) lose.

@Lee: I just hope it doesn't go to his head and turn him into a Monster.

@gijenny01: The comparison was between the openness of the two phones; Android is more open than iPhone. Regardless of the fact that an open-source phone was not Apple's intention, it's a valid comparison because that's a point that many people care about.

@FTO_dude: First off, 89.6 ºF *is* kind of hot; it's warm enough to cause heatstroke if you don't keep yourself properly hydrated. Second, there are plenty of Americans (myself included) who regularly deal with temperatures above 89.6 ºF (and I've lived in places where it got up to about 120 ºF in the daytime).

@Seasonone: I live in a smaller town and, frankly, there's NOWHERE to get water when I'm out of the house. Even if there is the odd water fountain, I really don't trust the cleanliness of it to drink from it. I prefer to carry water with me, so that I don't have to spend money on drinks when I'm out, or go thirsty.

Wait, does Reader save articles for offline viewing? Or is it basically just a layout change within the browser?

@randlsa: That's true; I think maybe a better bet would be something like the iPad (or any decent alternative). Does anybody know of a good app for something like that?

@ipodrulz: Well, the main thing is when you need to diagram things and I need to write things down quickly; a touch screen would be better for something like that.
