The NBA has a rule like that and I feel like the NHL does as well. That a player can’t be resigned by the same team that traded him until the year anniversary of the trade. Just saying it’s not like unprecedented.

Kinda figured there would be a rule in place about something like that. So teams don’t work out a long term deal before fleecing a team for a bunch of prospects for three months of work and then resigning them.
I find it a little collusion-y that the Yankees traded him to the Cubs for four prospects or something then turned right back around and signed him. Not that Cubs fans will complain a World Series title makes that trade totally worth it, I’m just saying it’s seems kinda off or shady to me.
You know what I love? I watched the Top 10 worst plays in NFL history the other day and the Malcom Butler pick was number one. Number two was Earnest Byner fumbling the ball at the one walking in for a touchdown. I love that the braying screeching mob doesn’t realize, as that list beautifully illustrated that…
Even the anti-trophy hunting crowd are usually off base. The licenses and fees assiociated with those sorts of hunts are so exorbitant that they fund conservation efforts to a huge degree. As an example while the elephant population is steadily declining in Africa trophy hunting is one of the few resources they have…
Read the article and tell me I’m off base again. I’m a fan of Feinberg’s because she is funny but this is so incredibly off base in practically every way imaginable. There are a ton of people just like her with absolutely no grasp of what hunting does for conservation efforts of practically every species of animal…
The amount of knowledge the left, and specifically metroplex liberals, have for conservation, hunting, fishing and national forests could fit in a kids shoebox.
It’s not like hunting license fees pay for like ninety percent of conservation efforts or anything... What a bunch of simpleton hunters.
My basic philosophy is anyone who is anti-hunting who also isn’t a vegetarian, can suck it softly.
You know when someone dies and you think “Man I shoulda been nicer to him.” Craig Sager is like the exact opposite of that. Every time his suit got made fun of or he was ripped by an irate coach and Pop specifically, Sager was at his best. I wish they had been mean to him more often because every time he handled it…
Well clearly she isn’t a true player.
Hi, my name is R. Kelly and I would like to hear more about this Golden Gopher you speak of...
Dude.
Yeah I don’t mean to put you on blast it ain’t just you saying this but Christ a few elderly celebrities dying and a lost election and it’s the apocolypse. It isn’t. It’s not even close, that year where people crashed planes into buildings and they fell down was slightly worse off the top of my head.
I’m about to blow a gasket over this 2016 nonsense. Every fucking time anything bad happens it’s 2016's fault. My God are people stupid.
I hope hundreds of NBA players show up to his funeral in absolutely hideous suits. KG included. That would be nothing short of awesome.
Well the answer is a hard cap and no max salaries. It’s quite simple. Even though the Warriors for example have that space to sign Durant they can’t because Steph’s deal is coming up and they can’t lose Steph Curry. Other smaller teams then could clear house and pay half of their salary cap or more to Durant if…
I mean you are right but do you honestly think the Spurs stand a chance? We can play this game every year and it might be kinda close but in a seven game series the Warriors are going to win that 4-2 with homecourt advantage and 4-3 without. The Cavs will beat the Raptors 4-1. Then I’d guess the Warriors win 4-2 in…
Good thing that flawless CBA is in place to make sure we never have to worry about that again.
The NFL’s cap structure is better. Well run NFL franchises tend to stay near the top. Ravens, Steelers, Broncos, Pats, Seahawks, Packers, Giants, Panthers. You could probably even put the Colts, Chiefs, Bengals, Cardinals around that group as well. Yeah I’d prefer a league with a dozen teams that have a shot every…
