You’re right; it’s the ERJs that have buckets. My bad.

My thoughts exactly. I see Glossy Primer Grey on quite a few cars and always wonder if the owner is color-blind or they just like their car to resemble government office furniture from the 60s. It’s a shit color.

In God’s name why?

There’s still a big fleet of MD80 series (I think all the DC-9s are retired) and CRJ/ERJ regional jets with bucket reversers. These will be in the fleet for years to come.

With the greater attention paid to hygiene, it’s not like it used to be. Example: in 2014 we did a Disney cruise with our 3-year-old twins. There were Disney folks handing out hand wipes outside the dining halls before every meal. I was impressed by the attention to detail; doesn’t mean rotavirus can’t or won’t spread

The e-VTOLs will make that happen sooner or later.

Statista data shows US corporate after-tax profits jumped 30% 2020-2021 and another 5% the following year. Their costs didn’t go up that much, but their profits did. This suggests a price increase far greater than the nominal rate you alluded to. At any rate, doing this during a pandemic when many were out of work and

the billionaire class and the corporate class do what they do best — they use a pandemic to price-gouge the hell out of people.

Yup, and cut the roof off & fill it with soil to make the coolest planter ever.

They might be going out of “fashion” for large transport-category aircraft but it’s the only solution for business jets with their much smaller engines and cowlings. Maybe somebody will put arresting wires across a runway someday and every landing will be like a carrier trap.

My point is the stock Fiesta ST 1.6 is good for 197/202trq (which would be a nice upgrade from the factory Miata motor) vs the 2 liter from the Focus’ 252hp 270trq. Sure, mods could boost power/trq from either motor but in stock form I’d think the 2.0 would be the best solution even with whatever weight penalty over

We got a winnah. Somebody tell Graverobber.

300hp would be fun but for a car that’s mainly driven on the street, torque is more useful than hp. (if we’re talking factory engines w/o mods)

Much as I love the idea of ludicrous power in a light sports car, I’d think the 2.0 out of a Focus ST would be perfect at 252hp/270 trq.

Is that the 250hp motor from the Focus ST?

These Bugs are like locusts, waiting underground for 17 years to emerge.

Feature or bug?

This one’s a crap shoot. The no start could be something simple like an ignition module, but even if it’s a bit more involved it’s still short money. Consider this a project and adjust expectations accordingly.

Pretty sure zombies would laugh at the CT. Until their jaw fell off..

Man, I can’t wait until Rich Rebuilds gets his mitts on one of these and puts an LS innit...
