I was thinking specifically of the PD engines that came in the 04-06 Mk4 TDIs. My car had the AHU motor which was damn near bulletproof.

If it weren’t for the huge g-forces generated by this thing, it would be an AMAZING amusement park ride.
Hey, if Tremec will warranty it why hell not?
GM VP Comm: Just say she was smoking in bed
Assistant: But the fire started in the garage
VP Comm: SHE WAS SMOKING IN BED
Mr Barra: Yes, she certainly was (wink wink, nudge nudge)
‘69 was definitely the best looking year of the 2nd gen Charger. The split grille and long taillights look the best imho.
The ultimate form of E-class imho is the E320 CDI from the mid-aughts with the straight 6 diesel. The Bluetec V6 diesel that followed was good too, but it didn’t have the smoothness. Finding one of these without multiple odo turnovers is a challenge though.
Speaking of hostile morons... I had a guy get pissy with me over his car’s drooping rear suspension. He was selling a BMW 7-series, and the photos showed the rear suspension sagging but he said it was due to “telematics” and that the rear came up when the engine started. I told him it’s because the air bag springs…
I’ve read many horror stories on TDI Club about the Mk4 TDIs. I bought a ‘98 Jetta TDI new, and having kept it for 11 years I managed to skip the problematic Mk4s. Those cars killed VW’s reputation in the US.
Yes I want to drive it. Into a wall at speed just to see all the splinters and heavy metal bits go flying. But those lazy ass programmers won’t allow it. Fukkers.
This can only be bolted to an autobox, right? Will the control pack support a manual trans?
Canada geese = cobra chickens.
I still have the window sticker from the RS I reviewed a few years ago. MSRP new was $40,255. Fun car, but yeah that does seem rich for a Focus.
At what point is a kid old enough to understand consequences of his actions? I’m pretty sure it’s before 17. Make an example of him.
What you did there. I see it.
A good idea but the output from the panels available today wouldn’t do very much to replace current used by the motor(s). Not helping is the fact that a roof is a very small area as well.
The answer to a question nobody asked.
Easy. The minigun from the XKR in Die Another Day.
