I have no opinion either way on Same Love, but man, Joe Mande has a really punchable face. Is the "who farted?" expression something he does a lot? Also, the Hatesong feature would be more entertaining if the featured track was something Marah liked.

I'm so glad that Hollywood has finally become comfortable with incest as a punchline in comedy. Actually, no, I'm not, it's weird and terrible.

No. None of these people, save maybe for DeNiro and Steve Martin, are due for, let alone deserving of a "reinvention." You're giving them way too much credit. Of course, I'm really fucking grouchy this morning, so take what I say with a grain of salt.

It took them this long to get around to a Star Wars episode?

I'm kinda thinking roundabouts 2019 Marvel exhaustion will set in for the general public.

In other news, MTV announces that nobody behind the program knows what the words "loner" and "introverted" mean.

No.

People actually watch programs on The TV Guide Network?

This sounds so generic that it seems almost deliberately so, like a weird sort of performance art.

Yep.

Ah, a show that's nostalgic for the sitcom dad who feels it's his duty to "toughen up" his son (read: make sure he doesn't grow up to be a f*****t). This sounds delightful.

If you're anything like me, it's hard to be happy when things go well in your life, because a.) you expect it to all come crashing down again anyway, and/or b.) you don't think you deserve happiness in the first place.

Buying Shit You Probably Don't Really Need Thread!

Yes. I am depressed.

I've never seen Glee, but I do enjoy reading the reviews, and I just have to ask: is this a show for people who genuinely believe that life peaks when you're in high school, or for people who think this is how high school should have been for them? Either scenario is kind of depressing.

Saw Mr. Peabody and Sherman, which was okay, even occasionally amusing. There were a few issues I had with the storyline (the child protective services worker character was so jarringly ogreish it really interfered with the entire tone of the movie), but it was harmless entertainment. It's sad that a kids movie that
