@SeedyXX: It can be done if you are patient and grind a few extra levels to get you into your RPG "comfort zone" - it isn't like FF games where you can level up 20 levels and just fly through the rest of the game, but you can get more "comfortable" as I said.

@Strangelove: @Strangelove: Agreed - I think this is the best PS3 game I have played so far. (and yes, I have played Uncharted 2, which was also wonderful.)

@Agumen: "Rutting like animals"???

@vorpal_raddish: This was my thought too - he's only a gamer if he plays ALL the shooters, not just one shooter.

@Paul Usoro: 100% agreed - I am embarrassed by the behavior of my fellow Kotaku readers.

Sloth love Chunk.

Look daddy, a whale egg!

@DRaGZ: True, but more likely A-J doesn't understand the term, like most people.

@LedRush: Not the best presentation actually - if you are going to write such a long post, you shouldn't include contradictory statements such as:

This is a major issue of contention among game developers (to include jump or not to include jump) - people may not realize it, but it has a HUGE impact of what environmental decisions are valid, etc. It is also much harder to keep the player out of areas he/she is not supposed to go if jump is included. Great

@dd528: Actually, you can find this and tons of other stuff like it (including dozens of potnetial prototypes for the original PS controller, the precursor to the DualShock) in an art/history book called "Digital Dreams: The Work of the Sony Design Center "

@phisheep: Abso-fucking-lutely. I don't buy the ""Now we can't get a review out to them in time for it to be relevant.""

@Dick Socrates: It is stupid to buy this crap - but not immoral. Going down that logical road, buying anything other than bread, water and rent is immoral.

Are people really buying this *crap*? I mean, I could see adding a pet if it was free and I was really bored and happened to be screwing around with my dashboard for some reason - otherwise, I spend about 5 seconds at my dashboard each time I turn on my Xbox. Just long enough to scroll to the game and launch it.

I am probably about to stop commenting because as a non-starred commentor, I don't think anyone sees what I have written unless they de-filter the threads. That really sucks.

@Brian Crecente: Doesn't even get the name right of one of the best games of the year. (if not the best) shame!

I remember that game!!!

Nice American Dad reference at the top of the board.

@the7k: Is this a site like cdcovers.cc? That place is the BOMB.
