They stole your idea (in principle)!

If you look at cornerbacks as binary figures who can either intercept passes or not intercept passes, and that is the only merit upon which they are judged, then... yea. But considering cornerbacks also tackle, deflect, cover, get not thrown to (ie minimize the effect a 'star' WR can have)... etc, I don't think

But doesn't this kinda fall into the same logic trap as the example of Manny Ramirez leading the AL in outfield assists?

I understand your point, but in a league of unbalanced scheduling (like MLB) 100 wins vs. 85 wins doesn't mean a whole lot without context.

Who knew that Aaron Rodgers would be cast in the next Forrest Gump?

Well that's unfortunate, because part of what I think makes baseball so appealing is that "small sample size crapshoot." You'll never see the equivalent of a (-28) line a la Jaguars v. Broncos in baseball.

Based on Eddie Perez's mannerisms and response, it really seems like he agrees more with Fredi's reasoning than Kimbrel's... Which is great an gives me faith that so long as this staff is retained, the Braves will be nothing more than a fringe contender.

That was the joke, poor Nacho.

Who are you, David Price?! I take the nerd with compliments, especially as it related to Parks and Rec!

Taran Killam as Christoph Waltz (from this episode) was amazing as well.

Wrong, too. Look up his OG Pawnee PnR ID. I believe it was 'Garry.'

"Oooh! There's Charl Schwartzel!"

*league-leading 2.57 regular-season ERA

Don't forget Jonah Keri and baseball! It's remarkable, too, the contrast between their podcast channels. The sports one is good/entertaining (Keri, Jalen Rose...) but the pop culture one is atrocious.

Were artists just that shitty 100 years ago? Those Tigers sketches were horrid.

Is that NSFW in Yankee Blogosphere World?

"Brats are boring. Do hot Italian sausages with sautéed bell peppers and onions, instead."

Do players ever wonder how their counterparts in MLB / NBA make far more money (at least guaranteed) when their popularity/revenues don't come close to that of the NFL? Does this fuel some of the general resentment towards Roger Goodell/owners?
