It’s all just so wildly improbable it really is hard to know what to feel about it. I wouldn’t be surprised if they regress towards what everybody expected them to be next year and they get 70 points. Or win it all. Who knows?
Quite the opposite - Vegas is losing their collective ass because this team can’t stop winning.
Kimmel must be happy.
“Compassion. Laughter. Dance. Respect. A second Dance Gem.” I love how their are six Infinity Gems, but only five Abundant Gems (four if you only count Dance once). Man, Chip Zdarsky’s Howard the Duck was amazing.
Poor Lady Sif. First Thor and everyone else forgets she exists. Then she doesn’t exist at all.
At least Russo remembers Betty existed at all. I really need closure with Bruce, Betty, and her father. Pipe dream, doubt we’ll get to see Banner/Hulk’s reaction to Betty being dusted.
Calling it now, the universe will be saved by the self-sacrifices of Aunt May and Howard the Duck.
Angry Hamburger would be a great band name.
If the rioters were cheeseburgers, we’d be calling this terrorism.
That scene where he’s in a restaurant and the kid asks him something about what it was like being in space so he has a panic attack that won’t pass until he gets back in the suit.
Pretty intense.
We watched all of the MCU last month. And the single strongest thread is Tony. (That may be obvious to some, but it kind of surprised me.) Every movie (that has him) in one way or another is about Tony just trying to cope.
We have a long standing and bitter argument in our office over Team Cap/Team Iron-Man. And while it wasn’t dealt with too explicitly, I’m glad to report that Infinity War pretty clearly resolved that issue in favor of Cap.
I’m so glad they didn’t.
I know some people don’t like Iron Man 3, but I thought it made perfect sense that the only person not really prepared for war suffered the most from it. Designing weapons and using them in the field are two entirely different things and Iron Man through AIW has a common thread of Tony being shook by actually being…
The schism did matter in Infinity War. Because of Civil War the Avengers were divided at the beginning of Infinity War, leaving Vision vulnerable and Strange with less of an Avenger presence in New York City when Thanos’ henchmen came a knocking.
Matthew - I recognize what you’re trying to do here, but please, stop.
At least they allowed Tony the maturity to acknowledge that he did have to put ego aside and call Steve for help, even if he didn’t actually get to complete the call.
