Chief?

That was one of the earliest TZ episodes I saw, and I thought it was so friggin weird. That's the episode I kept thinking Jess-Bell was until fairly recently.

For the second segment (I almost wrote it as "sexond" segment), it would have been better if it were from Asami's perspective, and we had insight into her thought process in Season One, and whether she had any regrets about siding against her father. Could have used the same limited animation, but it would have told

Yep, it's one of the last segments of the episode where Korra and Jinora go to the spirit world (and we get little Korra and Iroh), one of the few animated by Studio Mir that season. Studio Mir is far superior to Pierrot, but not every moment on screen can look like a million dollars.

Though ironically, I think that moment was taken from one of the few Studio Mir episodes during Season 2.

Definitely. I think what matters is whether the episode is still worth watching even after you know the twist. I could watch "Number Twelve" over and over, even though I know what's coming. I can't watch "Eye of the Beholder" anymore because I know when the bandages come off, she'll be beautiful and they'll be

"Stopover in a Quiet Town" was one of the first TZ episodes I ever saw. I thought it was cool and creepy before I realized it was just a retread of previous episodes, particularly "Where Is Everybody?"

And most of all, don't let your wife drive, because women, amiright?

Asami is a saint. She's been letting Mako and Bolin's extended family stay at her estate for three years??

At the same time, I hope it doesn't become a simple case of "Bataar Jr realizes Kuvira was just using him and turns good," because I think he has some real issues, maybe even more than she does.

At least there will be a Lynn reaction scene, which ought to be good.

It seemed more like she had mommy issues (based on her hallucinations). Even then, she was still pretty powerful, but could not quite overcome two other top benders (Zuko and Katara).

I know, but how difficult would it have been for her to just say "air nomad"?

Remember when Azula pumped Aang with enough metal poison to kill him?

One comment annoyed me a little this episode.

I don't think she was there for the final battle, but she would know that Korra could easily be taken down by toxic injection (ex: through those toxic darts). She hasn't seen Korra at her most impressive.

Right. I have a feeling he's the truly unhinged one. I could see Kuvira pulling back from the brink before it's too late. Him, not so much. Wouldn't be surprised if in a fit of madness, he ends up mortally wounding Toph or something.

It's true that her police force has no jurisdiction, but Lin herself has Earth Kingdom lineage and is a Beifong. Reiko might not want to give her up, but he couldn't prevent her from resigning, any more than Su could prevent Kuvira. In fact, Reiko might actually prefer to have Lin at the forefront of this dangerous

Where the fuck is Lin in all this? There's no way she wouldn't have accompanied Tenzin and Reiko to Zaofu. There's no way when Su declined to march into Ba Sing Se, Lin wouldn't have stepped up to do it. She's a Beifong, too, and unlike Su, is far more accustomed to imposing order.

Actually, the unit designation could be read as an insult. He names the power units Varrick and the weight units Zhu Li.
