A *hot* mess

If Curry’s shooting and the defense fouls the guy he’s sitting on - let’s call this guy The Legs - is it a shooting foul? Who takes the free throws, Steph or the Legs?

what are the odds Trump knows Ali is dead?

Wait until you see her mother

The Bulls won 55 games the year Jordan was playing baseball. Scottie Pippen was really, really good.

Right, or just wait for a different bus with fewer passengers and a less racist driver.

Exactly. Cake Guy wasn’t under any obligation to produce a cake depicting, say, two grooms sucking each other off. He was under the obligation to offer this couple any of the standard cakes he would offer to any other couple.

So, this cake-maker doesn’t approve of weddings? If that’s the case, he has every right to not make/sell wedding cakes.
He refused to make a cake for this particular wedding because the two people getting married were both men. He discriminated against them, not against, you know, weddings.

Providing a service is a choice, but choosing not to do so based on discrimination against a protected class is not.
And, the service in question does not have to be life-or-death in order for discrimination to have taken place. That’s a completely arbitrary argument.

Replace “same-sex” with “mixed-race” and it is literally exactly the same thing.
Unless you think that sexual orientation is a choice, which reading your posts, I think maybe you do.

If your (let’s say, Christian) faith prohibits you from serving people of a certain sexual orientation, or gender, or race, then you have two choices:
1) Move your business to a country which operates under Christian fundamentalist laws, or
2) Get over it, swallow your fundamentalist horseshit and don’t discriminate

The problem with old baby crap is that it tends to be covered in, uh, crap.

yeah, just find another baker! Separate but equal, right?

people need to stop apologizing for doing honest reporting

Easy, he’s a drone pilot now

It tells the only interesting part of the prequel story. Tells it poorly.

He means out of respect for him, personally.

I mean, it isn’t about a current Trump cabinet member

ignorant question here from a non-basketball-knower. Is there a reason that opposing defenses don’t do more to try to force the Rockets out of their preferred offensive rhythm? Press/double/whatever Harden while he’s dicking around at the top of the key, force him to give up the ball.
