I have zero pity, and zero sympathy, for people who have houses along shorelines.    Any shoreline.  River, lake, stream, sea, ocean.  It’s a wildly mercurial environment, and if you won’t step up to help the government that’s TRYING to help YOU, then you get what’s coming to you, which is a very indifferent Mother…

They would rather have their homes washed away than potentially hurt their oceanfront views, and then when that inevitably happens they’re gonna cry victim and ask for government money to rebuild.

What specifically a 300 prequel series would be about is unclear.

Same here. We started watching Discovery because we were excited for Trek to be back in a series format and we finished it because we were going to see it through to the end. But I don’t see any reason to start a show with such little promise unless it’s getting wall to wall rave reviews.

Yeah we’ve been looking for other life, and listening for other life, for the amount of time that is equivalent to just finalizing our order on amazon. And here we are upset that our package hasn’t arrived yet.

well, really really really fucking big and really really really fucking old in our time scale. They can rise, fall and rise and fall again, and we’d never know it because it could have happened already before we were even a concept. Or it hasn’t happened yet. Or it’s happening now, but it’s too far away for us to EVER…
