For real. Can you imagine someone even more inept than Spanfeller?

Meanwhile, Deadpool & Wolverine has been officially rated “R” for “strong bloody violence and language throughout, gore and sexual references.”

io9: “I thought we’d go see MaXXXine tonight”

Well that’s a major morning spoiler :(

Dangit, Collider went all weird and now I’m losing io9 too? Where will I get my spoilers from now? I’ve had a 9.30 appointment in my calendar every weekday morning to come here since....forever.

The south never saw a lost cause it wouldn’t commit to.

The simple answer is for De Santis to sign legislation that states that the beaches *aren’t* eroding, and that will be the end of that.

I have zero pity, and zero sympathy, for people who have houses along shorelines.    Any shoreline.  River, lake, stream, sea, ocean.  It’s a wildly mercurial environment, and if you won’t step up to help the government that’s TRYING to help YOU, then you get what’s coming to you, which is a very indifferent Mother

many residents still refused, in part out of a concern that new dunes would block their ocean views

They would rather have their homes washed away than potentially hurt their oceanfront views, and then when that inevitably happens they’re gonna cry victim and ask for government money to rebuild.

What could go wrong??

What specifically a 300 prequel series would be about is unclear.

Hollywood really knows how to strike while the iron is hot.

Same here. We started watching Discovery because we were excited for Trek to be back in a series format and we finished it because we were going to see it through to the end. But I don’t see any reason to start a show with such little promise unless it’s getting wall to wall rave reviews.

This show started as garbage and ended as bad, which I suppose is an improvement

Yeah we’ve been looking for other life, and listening for other life, for the amount of time that is equivalent to just finalizing our order on amazon. And here we are upset that our package hasn’t arrived yet.

well, really really really fucking big and really really really fucking old in our time scale. They can rise, fall and rise and fall again, and we’d never know it because it could have happened already before we were even a concept. Or it hasn’t happened yet. Or it’s happening now, but it’s too far away for us to EVER

If intelligent life is common, why haven’t we found any evidence of it?

This would help explain why we haven’t detected any signals from other civilizations yet.”

This whole event is grizzly.  Bearly made it through the story.
