Honestly if it hadn't all been released at once so I could binge I probably wouldn't have finished it.

While there’s been some criticism of it, Amazon really made the right call to drop the full series at once; you weren’t the only one who felt the first 90 minutes or so was a bit hard to get into.

I see that AI has reached blockchain level buzzwordiness where companies would bend over backwards to mention the term in their product to seem advanced or cutting edge.

Bumble and these other apps like Match and Tinder, etc. Show you great profiles at first and you will rack up the matches. As soon as you pay they show your profile to no one or people you are very unlikely to match with. They are all a scam and setup to fail, making you think if you pay more money you will finally

“What if we use AI impressions of you to test-run matches in the cloud” is literally the plot of a Black Mirror episode, so glad there’s another concept that show got more or less right.

There’s a real reason why they’re armed - there was an incident years ago in the SF east bay where FDA inspectors were going to a company and effectively shut it down. One of the executives came out with a shotgun and killed 3 of 4 on the spot, and the 4th barely got away. They’ve been armed ever since.

I think the theater I was in was the quietest ever experience I have had. Definitely played into the movie. The sequels, not so much.

found it

I was about to say, I’ve done the Atomic Hot Wing challenge a couple times and it only makes things worse.

I don’t blame him. I should have said I was being sarcastic.

Burn the stomach lining off, yeah, we know. We’ve all had a vindaloo. It still doesn’t work.

I know this gets said about a pretty much every remake but ‘Escape from New York’, just why? The original movies were made at a time when you also had movies like Death Wish. There was this anxiety about cities and it was possible to see a situation where NY and LA especially could have ended up as open air prisons.

Dang, listing Rebel Moon as the only credit for Djimon Hounsou is doing him dirty.

Tis but a flesh wound

If the door you designed needs instructions to open and you aren’t hiding the Ark of the Covenant behind it, you have done an excellent job defining “bad design.”

That Wednesday cast is INSANE.

It’s going to be odd having Christopher Lloyd in an Addams Family movie and not be Uncle Fester!

It’s not the phones, it’s social media warping them to value views over human life.

I get the pressure, but c’mon. Swiss Army knives aren’t the ones used in crimes. Most of their blades are under 2.5” long, which usually passes local ordinance standards in many municipalities strict on knives. Their blades are clearly for utility and are actually useful as such.

Who knew that insane young woman who rode a motorcycle onto a moving train (!!!) in that old VHS flick the guys at Thomas Video recommended would go on to win the Oscar for best actress and become Hollywood’s biggest buzz as a sexagenarian!
