Nah, they were tranq darts.

Pretty meh episode for me, though I thought Quentin and Diggle had some great moments. Both Paul Blackthorne and David Ramsey were amazing. But most of all it dragged a bit and I was bored at times.

Haha, fair enough! :)

Just said the same thing above. The retcon made no sense and just made both Oliver and Laurel look like awful human beings, but especially Laurel who claimed one week earlier that she loved Tommy, only to then kiss Oliver and be all excited for their future together.

I thought this episode really hammered home how dead Laurel was. They even showed her in the morgue. And then had 'The Black Canary' on her gravestone. It's done (well, SPOILER, apart from the cameo on The Flash.)

It's still not as bad as the bedazzled coat she wore last episode. That was terrible!

LOL that scene with Oliver and Laurel kissing one week after burying Tommy. So disgusting. He's barely in the grave and Laurel's excited for the future. What a mess. Tommy deserved better! More proof that Oliver and Laurel were terrible humans together.

LOL. Yes, you're being sarcastic? I sure hope so. Ha!

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.

Exactly. I totally understand why GA/BC fans are upset but this show has never followed the comics verbatim, why would they start now? I actually don't think there was enough room to do Black Canary justice on the show anyway.

My other issue is that Oliver only tells the team things at the last minute. He should have said something back when they first saw the totem but nah.

No. Never. It just reaffirms that they've never really wanted to write her a story.

I mean, I'm not ruling out an Earth 2 appearance, maybe even more than once, but I do think Laurel is gone for good.

Different strokes and all that but I actually felt the opposite. It was weird not to see her until the end, although I understand it was necessary in this episode. But then I like Felicity so…lol.

BRATVA! YESSSSS. Hopefully. I don't know why I somehow think Bratva will be more interesting that what we've gotten the last 2 seasons lol.

Dude, she was in this episode for like 2 minutes. I understand you hate her but c'mon.

It's not a fake out. She's really dead. I don't know if we can rule out Earth 2 replacements yet but I think Katie is gone from the show full time as Laurel.

Same. I think this death was just fixing the mistake they made casting her in day one. She never worked and often felt like a spare part. But the way they killed her was terrible and underwhelming and just plain bad. There was no energy or shock or emotional punch, at least not until Quentin rounded the corner in the

Felicity dying would have been even more predictable. Killing the hero's love interest? Lame.

The most important thing is that Oliver is still alive. This is his story. This is what we're here for, right?
