Is anyone else scared by this? Anytime a manufacturer uses something encrypt its software they somehow FORGET to give the owner a way to get through that encryption. This may possibly become a pretext to again push people toward dealers and/or licensed (i.e. Paid money for the privilege.) repair shops for all their

On the grammar tip:

Today there are really only a few legal ways to import a foreign car. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the vehicle safety arm of the U.S. Department of Transportation, requires that a vehicle be 25 years old or older (or already compliant with U.S. safety regulations, like a U.S.-spec vehicle sold

I see your ugly and raise you an uglier. The turn signal bumps on the hood are so that even the blind can know that it's ugly.

My thought was somewhat about efficiency. An engine in a vehicle purchased once every 20 years is a bit of a liability for ever increasing fuel costs.

Darn kids! Always wearing their ball caps backward.

Is anybody here involved in commercial fleet management? Does it make the most sense to buy your entire fleet in huge increments every 20 years? Why not break it up into smaller chunks?

So THAT'S what happened to all the people who went to Fantasy Island.

Please tell me the team uniforms were hypercolor shirts.

He wasn't grabbing the bumper. He wanted to show his friends where they first met.

I will say I have an issue with your graphic though. Just as you have an issue with the name America being subverted to describe only the United Sates of America I have a problem when someone deletes the 'of America' part of our name. The Nissan Silvia was never sold in the US (so it does not conform to our safety and emissions standards) and

You are very right with the first statement. Unfortunately the second is not. How many times has a single new model made made brand equity instantly jump to the levels they price for? The only thing that really builds brand equity is a quality product and time. Unfortunately I am worried Cadillac will become

I have had a few. They typically last until the last of the paperwork is signed.

Can you just tell us which dealer you represent so we can continue to not do business with them?

If we all put on our tin foil hats for a moment. What if the other auto makers secretly do not want to make electric cars? We all know that GM knows how to design great looking cars. We all know GM knows how to hobble a car so people buy the more expensive and un-hobbled model.

Coincidentally this is the next fix for all the GM ignition recalls. The fix after that is when they install the key, break it off, and make you leave the car running forever. I know these are 'minor' inconveniences but it saves GM the cost of a stronger spring.

I wonder where the laser is on the car?
