It’s unreasonable to expect new social norms will not come with their own baggage. And no, men largely do not feel “entitled” to sex. They simply seek sex.  

Where do I say that only women normalized it? Both men and women normalized it.

But by its very nature, casual sex devalues the human portion of sex, and turns the act into something purely physical. Why else would we call it casual sex if not to devalue the significance of the act itself?

I appreciate your long response, but I question this premise. One can question a social norm without making a value judgement on the individuals who adhere to it.

I make no conclusions as to whether or not casual sex is ethical or unethical, as I don’t really feel I have the right to determine that beyond my own personal views. There’s a difference between liberating sexuality, and devaluing it. The modern norm of casual sex absolutely started as a means of liberating sexuality, but like all good things there are always negative unintended consequences. Pick up culture is one of them.

These people are gross, but when you normalize casual sex, don’t act surprised when men try to maximize their rate of said sex.

Depends if its good or bad publicity. Tesla is knee-deep in questions about build quality and its production process, and this stunt seems frivolous.

If I was investing in Tesla, I think that I would prefer Musk sell the roadster instead of launching it into space.
