I miss not particularly bothered with D2 on Battle.net. Compared with Uplay or other non steam platforms, it’s robust and has a great multiplayer focused community.

Destiny’s apex was the release of The Taken King. The week after that was pure Destiny bliss. If they can recapture that and build on it, I’m down for another bout of Destinying.

I keep glancing at this title. I feel that there is a general lack of Edge of Tomorrow-style exoskeletons in videogames, and this seems to fill the gap.

I’m not seeing the intent, though. You’re still talking about a difference between a malicious act and a simple mistake. One demands condemnation, the other needs education.

Mistakes happen. Apologize and move on.

Seems more thoughtless than racist.

I’m game, but there’s a certain quality level that I expect from something on Battle.net. Destiny 2 will probably fit the bill, but going forward I would hope that they keep the platform to well-honed multiplayer games.

Retconning the giant floating plot device responsible for setting everything into motion (and which was easily visible at all times from the main hub) would be...bold?

Nah, this is just self-righteous posturing for the sake of creating conflict. The only reason you would be so abrasive so soon after his death is to rile up his supporters and get in more Twitter fights (the Chinese take-out of political discourse).

I’m morbidly curious about what it would be like to turn the news off for a month, then jump back in.

It’s funny how different a game Overwatch is now than when it first came out. I still remember the glory days of hunting tanks with McCree’s alt-fire before it got nerfed.

I thought we solved this. You have the right to recline, but it is polite to not do so.

Because you don’t want to differentiate between justified and unjustified shootings, and it steals energy from cases where we should be genuinely angry.

You know what? I misread the article. Absolutely fair points, and I was wrong to confuse it with giving illegal immigrants to vote.

I’m happy with the product that ultimately came out. Enemies were appropriately alien, the setting was rich in substance, and the gameplay was unique and pushed outside the bounds of a Bioshock-style shooter.

Not at all. All I’m saying is that between an apparent disdain for border integrity, immigration procedures, and now voting eligibility, there seems to be  a desire to see the political boundaries of the United States disappear.

Wonderful, thank you.

At this point I feel the need to just go ahead and ask you guys: Do you think that the United States should exist as a soveriegn politicial entity?

Arguing that this was obstruction of justice or something similar would be difficult, given that Comey apparently sat on this while the law states he should have immediately brought it to the attention of the DoJ. His failure to do so implies that he did not think the request made was illegal, at least at the time.
