You’re mischaracterizing a mainstream religious view on homosexuality as a fringe position, not to mention you make it sound like CFA is turning gays away at the door. Do you hold all christian organizations in similar contempt? How about Islamic organizations?  They hold similar views, after all.

To be fair, you don’t need the Bible to protest abortion, you just need to believe that personhood begins at conception.  Even if you don’t agree with that premise, you can at least understand how someone who does believe in it would therefore be opposed to abortion.
