Sony originally claimed the investment was $11 million, which seems more realistic. I’m not sure why it suddenly went up to $60 million.

This is Kesha’s injunction request. I think she made a strong case for getting an injunction but the judge didn’t seem to want to hear it.
I already posted this above but I’ll post it here again:
Injunctions are usually granted while a case is going through the courts. You don’t have to prove your case to get one. If someone’s business or career will be irreparably damaged a judge can grant an injunction. This judge didn’t grant the injunction because she claimed Kesha’s career wasn’t in danger. This is…
This could all have been resolved without a lawsuit. Sony could have freed her from Kemosabe and moved her to another part of their label. She’d still be cranking out hits and Luke’s reputation wouldn’t be in tatters. They made a really stupid decision.
I think she’ll definitely appeal. I don’t think this was a good decision. The judge assumed Kesha’s career wasn’t in danger because Sony said they would let her record without Luke. But that was a very recent decision. They were telling her before that she had to record with Luke because of an exclusivity agreement.…
Other accusers will testify against him when the case goes to trial. My guess is no one is coming forward publicly because he sues for defamation whenever people accuse him of anything.
She actually hasn’t been free to record without Luke until this point. Sony had said she had to record with him or not record at all. Then they went into court and said she could record without him. They clearly haven’t been very honest and the judge fell for it.
The judge actually could have invalidated the contract if she felt Kesha’s career was endangered. Because Sony claimed they would allow Kesha to record without Luke the judge decided that her career wasn’t actually in danger. The whole point of an injunction is to keep someone is business until there’s a final ruling…
I’m basing it on this. These guys are directly connected to Kesha.
Her injunction request said 3 more albums.
And worse when you see the picture.
This seems like nothing more than a legal strategy to get her injunction denied. I don’t think they have any interest in actually allowing her to record with them.
Sony originally denied her request to work without Luke, so it seems they made that offer solely to ensure her request for an injunction gets denied.
Kesha initially wanted to record for Sony but without Luke. They refused saying she had an exclusivity clause with him. They seem to have changed their minds recently possibly for the sole purpose of getting her injunction request denied. But it’s possible they won’t let her actually record for them. Or if they do…
Apparently the judge hasn’t issued the final decision on the injunction just yet. She’s asking for more information.
Apparently he used to be a drug dealer and that’s how he got the name.
Other women will testify against Luke when the case goes to trial in 2017. I wouldn’t say Kesha is mentally unstable at all. Obviously this situation is very emotionally damaging to her but she doesn’t seem to have any issues other than that.
It’s confusing. Sony initially refused to let her record without Luke. Then they went into court and claimed they were going to allow her to record without him but her lawyer claimed they wouldn’t actually promote her in any way if she did record for them. They can easily make things very difficult for her and…
The judge hasn’t issued a final decision yet apparently. I wonder if there’s any chance she’ll change her decision once she’s presented with evidence?
