I really liked the part where Oates made a pact with the devil so that he could turn into a penguin to play that sweet guitar outro (some imagination required).

Have you ever seen "Return to Oz"? I think a good portion of that move would also be terrifying & scarring for it's intended age group.

I would say Gene Wilder is a better Wonka, but I preferred almost everything else from Burton's version.

Earlier series of the JoJo anime are (were?) freely watchable with ads on Crunchyroll, though they are censored for content. Each series has it's own tone, with the first series being the most straight-laced and the later series going off the rails, all entertaining. I haven't watched any of "Diamond is Unbreakable"

I saw "Manhunter" for the first time recently and was fairly impressed. Was it the progenitor of the FBI profiler style protagonist in movies & TV?

Huh… ESPN's college game day song is "Jesus Built My Hotrod"?

I think Sam and Buzzfeed have only ever had either Donald Duck Orange Juice or Ocean Spray orange juice from a vending machine. Both are terrible excuses for orange juice.

I think an interesting take on the "home base" theme would be Romancing SaGa (PS2) which had a town theme that was interpreted in different styles in different cities. Compare:

For a… different experience, check out "Dark Souls with James" (GameFront), which might inspire those who are intimidated by the souls series.

My only real concert was seeing NIN during the Downward Spiral tour (?), and my fondest memory is that they specifically did not perform "Closer" which was in heavy rotation on the radio. I just thought, "Wow, this guy Trent knows his stuff."

Noooooo, other people think Equinox is a terrible game? That was one of my favorites that I played so much. I even beat the game by only using the initial sword and avoiding (almost?) all of the magic powerups. I distinctly remember a spot where an enemy was stuck in a corner and you were supposed to use a specific

Here's my strategy for the 3 stooges after many, many, many, many deaths:

I thought SC4 and 5 were both good. I liked how SC5 worked meter management into the mix.

Food Pyramid Head LOLOL!
