The Otters Knew Alex Was Still Around

I read that as it was just a thing they told Grey Worm to get him chill. They must all know that the night’s watch is not a thing and is more just a homebase for the wildlings or something.

There’s not really a Night’s Watch, just a) a story to tell Gray Worm so they let Jon live and/or b) a place to send people that aren’t criminals but they don’t really know what else to do with. Nobody’s gonna be checking up on them, like before with the army at Castle Black.

Re: Walking,

I spend all day marinating in my filth. The addition of hot water doesn’t really change that. If I shower after, I get to actively wash it all off and the pre-soak loosens some of the really deep stuff. Just gotta remember to rinse with cold water to encourage my pores to shrink back up.

Every unwanted pregnancy endangers the life of the mother - it endangers her physical health and her mental state. What happens to the women who are driven to suicide when made to carry a rapists’ baby?! Would that not be a perfectly legal reason to save the life of the woman, and end the pregnancy?!

It is more a matter of respecting precedent than being conservative. Kavanaugh does not respect precedent like Kennedy did.

Not just SCOTUS. Packing the lower courts with far right wing judges will do far more long-term damage. The Republicans are essentially remaking the judiciary in the image of the fifth circuit.

Yes to ^ this. So many people who hate Trump as a person, voted for him just to get SCOTUS to lean in their direction for maybe a decade.

They've got some brand new justices that have hard-ons for overturning Roe v. Wade. That's exactly why the GOP tolerates the abject failure that is Donald Trump as President. He's got them their judges.

It seems like the people who have been surprised by events in season 8, weren’t paying attention. There may have been some subverting of their expectation, but those were their expectations. GoT has not always followed the most obvious path, and subverted expectations from the moment they killed Ned Stark.

Wow, it’s almost like from then until now she lost almost everything she loved in her life! Including her one driving force in life, her claim to the throne. Weird how that might change a person!

And only D&D can be blamed. HBO offered two 10 episode seasons and literally stated that money was no concern. HBO knows it will go down in history for doing this right.

Agreed on Jaime, it makes no sense at all.  Maybe it’s because I never liked her in the books either, but Dany seemed to building to the mad queen ever since Drogo’s death.

If people couldn’t see this coming since the end of last season or the very least the previous episodes of this season, I don’t know what to tell them.  The writing was on the wall.

It seems I’m one of the only people who still likes this show now, because apparently the idea that a show whose only long-running theme that rulership by birth is destructive at best and when led by ill rulers is horrifying in totality, ending with yet another ill-ruler with a longstanding history of

The problem in this story is the Aperol. Campari and prosecco will take you to the land of glamourous early 1960's Italian movies stars on the beach in Eleuthera.

4 euros? isn’t that like, $50? i’m not good at exchange rates.

it’s an interesting question. i didn’t exactly see an outrage when underage tommen had sex with an adult woman.

“What that scene ended up doing was forcing people to confront their own hypocrisy in a way,” he said.
