Yeah I’ve read some pretty compelling points against it. It looks nice on the surface, but ... I dunno. It’s one of those things where I feel like it should be the legislators deciding, not us. They’re the ones who work in that system, not me.

I have eight local measures on my ballot in addition to the seventeen. The state election guide, which doesn’t include the county stuff, arrived today — 222 pages!

Soberanes Fire is too far south; this is practically in Oregon. A poster up thread mentioned the Feds busting a grow op; that sounds more plausible to me based on location — but the fact that everything was gone the next morning is the crazy part!
