Maybe you should read the article. Under DADT, homosexuals in the military were basically denied the right to admit they were gay, which naturally included things like the right to be in an open relationship or get married.

Never said the actions were the same. Simply that they both viewed homosexuality as “wrong” according to Abrahamic religious beliefs. Thanks Gawker.

I respect that, to a point, but society and the military have moved on. Believe me, following the DADT repeal and the strikedown of DOMA, the millenials who worked for me expressed the biggest collective shrug you can imagine.
