No coach did not tell us to do it the officak called my team mates the n word

“Harper even got an RBI, which none of these other guys I’ve never heard of managed to pull off.”

Actually, you didn’t mention what I think was the most unusual part: he didn’t record a swing tonight!

The fuck is this? “Harpers” in the headline, “Bryce Harper” on first, second and third reference (but not the rest), and not for effect. You guys just don’t edit at night anymore or something?

Given the statement that it was because of an “argument on social media” I wonder if it might have had nothing to do with her working the drive through except the attacker knowing that she’d be there. We’ve had a couple of fights break out in or in front of my library this summer simply because two (or more) people

“Doing the job he was hired to do”? Seriously? My four year old asks better questions than this sideline reporter. If he had done the job he was hired to do, he would've actually given thought into what he was going to ask before-hand.

Fair enough!

All righty, now you're talkin, friend!

It’s part of the telecast, not part of the game. And it's a bad, useless part of the telecast.

The reporter’s questions were dumb (especially the second two). The coach was a dick. The coach was not a bully. There’s difference.

Sideline reporters are about the dumbest thing broadcast sports has ever done—nothing of import is ever said. I wish this happened every week so they’d stop doing it.

they were dumb questions though

People being bullied usually don’t SEEK OUT their attacker. NOWHERE is the fat in need of trimming more than in televised sports.

Belichick

The reporter asked him some dumbass questions and got called on it. If he didn’t want to get made to look like an idiot on television, he should have put some forethought into what he was going to ask.

Its about time the coaches start giving shit to the talentless reporters. Don't waste my time. Rarely, if ever, has any real information come from a sideline interview. And this doofus axing the questions really didn't have a clue. What the hell did he want Harbaugh to say?

I'm actually okay with any scenario in which Jay Gruden is yelled at and a sideline reporter is humiliated.

It's very simple (according to the media, which Deadspin is a part of): a player/coach gets mad at a reporter and tells him his question is stupid? That's bullying. A reporter asks a player/coach a stupid question? Well he's just doing his job.

That’s bullying?!? HAHA

Well, if the guy doesn’t lean over, A-Rod won’t hear the clever insult, will he?
