Which is NOT something that I would want to watch in all likelihood

That Riverdale spinoff definitely on the face of it does not sound as compelling as Chilling Adventures of Sabrina (or even the Josie & the Pussycats spinoff I was hoping it would be)

Come on, Pilgrim! You know he loves you.

By the seventh part, they run out of album-related things to say, and just talk about that Friends episode where Ross plays the keyboard.

Yup, but this seems more like the movie than the book

Well Vandermeer does write weird horror/sci fi somewhat in the Lovecraftian tradition so it makes sense.

I was originally going to do all the L&O shows in one list, then decided I like living.

Weirdly with Annihilation doing so well recently, though this is a classic story, an adaptation of it might feel derivative, as it plays with similar themes of alien invasion horror strangeness and I could imagine the effects being somewhat similar to the “shimmer.”

Same thoughts.

It’s so weird that so many people independently decided that MAGA gear and Trump slogans were a great way to intimidate minorities. It couldn’t possibly that all of those people easily understood the messaging behind those things. I’ve been told that would be an unfair interpretation of the facts. So, clearly, they

White privilege is the media falling over itself to apologize when it thinks it misread a situation. If these were African-American kids, we never would’ve seen alternate video or explanations.

After listening to the Director’s commentary I can say without question it’s all style, the plot makes zero sense with Kelly’s explanation.  What style though!

thanks!  i need to try pretty little liars. seems great :)

It really wasn’t a new plot contrivance that Derek would now have Janet powers. Even if he wasn’t as advanced as Janet at the outset, he always had rudimentary Janet powers: he could boop in and out of the void just like Janet, he was able to conjure the “Help me, I can’t stop saying Jason” sign, and he was able to

I just posted this too. Both of Charles reviews have said Pacific Northwest. I'm from upstate NY so I might be a little biased but I absolutely believe it's supposed to be in the Adirondacks or Green Mountains of Vermont.

And then it got turned into a Hotel!

I have mixed feelings about all the nuns being dead. it was such a constant to have them being evil but it did become kind of weird to have them in various forms of antagony every season. so I don’t know if I am going to miss them or not, what about you? glad they’re gone or sad?

I’m glad Cheryl finally got called out for not sharing her big house with other Serpents. After the exodus from the Southside I thought they should address whether or not she’d ever share her wealth.

Wow, they deadass basically just retconned that quarantine. I’m honestly... a little impressed they did that? Like they set it up as their big cliffhanger for the midseason finale and then it was just over. Didn’t see that coming.

Although Veronica is overly curious, I'm a bit skeptical of her doing so much research into her mother's past.  The stated motivation - wanting to know whether her mother was like one of the mean girls who makes her life miserable - is understandable, but in light of what her mother did to her at the end of season 1,
