I’m not exactly shouting, “oh, boy” but I still enjoy the show enough to keep watching it every week. It’s stupid in a way that is usually fun for me.

The bikinis are probably self-explanatory
Hello fellow American. This you should vote me. I leave power. Good. Thank you, thank you. If you vote me, I’m hot. Taxes, they’ll be lower... son. The Democratic vote is the right thing to do Philadelphia, so do.
Season 3 was one of my least favorite seasons but that line is hands down the best quote from the whole show.
My pop culture weekend:
Watching: Riverdale Season 2 - This show is so fucking stupid in the best way. I’m 4 episodes into the new season and it seems like they’ve decided to lean into the fact that the show is really just Pretty Little Liars under an Archie Comics veneer.
Listening to: Buffering the Vampire Slayer -…
I’m going to go ahead and reply and star you to hopefully get your comment out of the grays as thanks for giving me a good hearty laugh.
Jesus. First the announcement of two competing Thai cave rescue movies and now this.
How long until we reach the point where the movie adaptation is announced in the very same article that breaks the news of the event itself?
I went to a Star Wars trivia night and there was a whole segment of “Who said it? Yoda or Jaden Smith?”. Luckily years of anti-social internet dwelling had prepared me for just such a situation.
Exactly, hence why that’s the pinnacle of the series. Frankly, I think Westworld could do with fewer old-timey piano covers and more surprise appearances of Len playing Steal My Sunshine at the Mariposa.
McMahon will always hold a special place in my heart for driving the final nail in the coffin of coming to terms with my homosexuality
After I watched Buffy/Angel for the first time I moved on to Charmed hoping that it would fill the supernatural-WB-show-shaped hole in my life... I gotta say, even at its peak, that show was incredibly mediocre. For some reason I pushed through the whole show and it’s one of my greatest regrets in life. I think the…
I know I’m almost a year behind the times but, LaToya, your reviews of Riverdale and your responses in the comments make me so happy. There is literally nobody who could do a better job of reviewing a show like this.
Ah, that makes sense. Thank you for the clarification. And, yeah, I definitely thought Bridesmaids was more recent than that. I would have guessed 2013 or 2014.
Did they edit the article? As I see it, it reads:
Good suggestion as I love BryndenBFish but I’m a bit down on that series as I’ve finally given up hope of ever seeing it completed and I don’t know if I want to dedicate the time if I’ll never get closure on the books.
Totally agreed. After my second run through of the shows I just felt so desperate for me and decided to give the comics a try and after finishing the one collection decided they really just weren’t for me and that I’m quite happy with what we originally got.
Ha, yeah I agree it had a lot of silly aspects. That’s one of the reasons I don’t like Buffyverse comics specifically. Comics just have very different conventions than live action TV and the lesser budgetary constraints allow them to go way over the top. From what I hear, Buffy Season 8 got really absurd because the…
Femme Fatale and Mirror are my two favorites!
Cecily! AKA Halfrek!
I have actually read Angel: After the Fall (aka Angel Season 6) despite my distaste for comics so I can fill you in if you’re interested/don’t care about spoilers.
