Ha, yeah it’s amazing to think back on Season 1 and what a different show it was. I mean, it was the same to an extent but it just felt so much smaller in scale. Watching the Charlie drug addiction storylines and all the Boone and Shannon shit, I never would have guessed that it would eventually spend a season dealing

At the risk as being labeled as dumb, don’t you have those axes backwards? Isn’t the difference in score a Y axis trick and isn’t the X axis the percentage of runtime?

I just finished Lost for the first time on Sunday and I don’t have anyone to talk about it with because I’m 5+ years behind the time. Two things that surprised me based on all the discussion I’ve heard over the years were:

A) I though it mostly did a good job of answering the questions that needed to be answered. There

I have always heard it called Cha Cha Slide as well since, y’know, that’s the name of the song. I am white btw

To add to this, in the first episode he talks to his death row client about his very first memory and it flashes back to him being found by the sheriff out on the frozen lake

I feel the same way. I have only ever read The Dark Tower (and I never dug into all the connections to other King stories that it contains, I just took it as a standalone series) and The Shining and then I’ve seen, Carrie, IT and the Kubrick Shining and I think that’s as far as I’ve delved into King. As I’m watching,

Yes but I’m talking about the admins who are the actual reddit employees that govern the whole site and take care of stuff that goes above the moderator’s abilities. I used to moderate an 80,000+ person subreddit and had to reach out to them a number of times and they were always prompt and responsive.

What’s amazing to me is that your post has 19 stars and at least 5 responses yet it’s greyed out right now (and I don’t even see it when I click “pending” anymore), yet I go to that Charlie’s Angels article and the n word comment is fully visible and one of the top comments.

Yes, I would think Kinja would have staff who would monitor the flagging system. Reddit is exponentially larger and yet you get pretty quick feedback when you report abuses to the admins.

Not necessarily my favorite of all time, but Abigail Breslin was quite talented as a young child.

My immediate thought is the Jurassic Park sequel effect where audiences demand bigger, crazier thrills has led to movies like this and Deep Blue Sea rather than remaking Jaws. To quote Wu in Jurassic World:

I’ve always been excited to binge the new OITNB season everytime one comes out and I didn’t hate the riot season as much as many people seemed to, but I just don’t feel any real excitement or urge to watch it ASAP this time around. It just sorta feels like it’s taking the Weeds route where it starts with a couple

Anya was just the skin the Vengeance demon chose to wear when hatching a scheme and was inadvertently trapped in

Cleveland

Like that would be enough to stop the dark master...bator.

Just a ton of backlash about how this will ruin the original and how awful everything is going to be based on 100% speculation. It seems like the media labeling it a ‘reboot’ rather than a ‘spinoff’ or a ‘reunion’ or a ‘continuation’ has been a big part of the outrage.

Taking a quick look right now, it seems like this

Not good. Having a gay character now would be way less controversial (in fact, it would be a big draw) and having another Andrew would be way more controversial.
