I did and didn't even have a laserdisc player for years but my mom's house burned down. Sadly, the laserdisc went up in the flames. I think I cried for that more than so many other things.

seriously - how the hell do you escape the 80's without seeing it? It's been a mission of mine as well for at least 2 decades now. Hell, I had a copy of Robocop appearing at the WCW event forever ago and was sad it didn't happen near where we lived.

I love this movie so much that I have a copy on every sd card and hard drive I own. I keep the laserdisc version as well as the 2 different dvd copies on every hard drive. It is one of the first movies that was rated R that I saw in the theater by myself.

there is a making of for the commercial online and the actress that is the puppy adoption owner talks about hoping the commercial works well because next year will probably be about the puppy owners being together. I think there will be a baby to play with the horses and the dog's owners will now be all married.

this commercial wrecked me last year and even to this day if I hear Landslide, I think of this commercial and cry.

Dog commercials of any kind get to me. This one added in the horse trainer from last year's commercial with Landslide playing, which wrecks me still to this day because of the song being paired so beautifully with the theme of the commercial, with puppies.
