Bernie envisions beating Trump by inspiring a political revolution in young voters / new voters. It appears they go to his rallies, but they’re not turning up at the voting booths.

Fuck off with this bullshit.

Fuck yeah a British Indian playing an Arthurian knight!

You?

but was the fish from ON Africa or NEXT TO Africa even if swimming above the same continental shelf, because the latter is merely approximation appropriation

Clearly his greatest role, as the Moorish Idol fish, Gill. I would have like to have learned more about how given the fish is from Africa how he navigated the potential criticism of cultural appropriation, and more importantly, how he learned to breathe underwater.

Sure, all the love for Asimov and Clarke ....

Nah... Dicaprio was as good as he’s ever been in Once Upon a Time...In Hollywood. Stupendous performance that got less love than it should have because he already won his long overdue Oscar for The Revenant

Everybody look and laugh at this fuckhole:

Or when a President gives his daughter and son-in-law jobs but then complains about nepotism.

This is assuming that shame works as a deterrent from shaming others.  One only needs to look at how Rush Limbaugh talked about drug addicts AFTER he was openly in rehab for drug addictions to see this is not now and never will be the case.

As I recall, the only laugh of that scene was Palmer’s precision usage of an F-bomb. Which was, bar none, the single best of use of the F-word in cinematic history.

To me the John Carpenter-Kurt Russell 80s movies are the greatest actor-director collaboration ever, over John Ford-John Wayne and George Cukor-Katharine Hepburn

Honestly though, Jared Leto is pretty well cast for this role. He looks the part and he has the personality of an oft forgotten and ignorable goth villain

Now playing

Every time I see discussions on “Joker” I end up landing here:

“I found King of Comedy to be like watching Curb Your Enthusiasm without the humor.”

That’s what I find watching Curb Your Enthusiasm to be like.

watching shows like CSI always do that to me.

In France they don’t have the Cochrane Scale so they call this episode “The Royale with Cheese.”

It’s remarkable how enjoyable Goodfellas is given the fact that pretty much every character in the movie is a horrible person, most especially the protagonist. The movie starts with him describing in detail how all he wants to do is enjoy the above the law lifestyle of a mafia associate. Throughout the movie he does

I honestly think the Thing is the perfect horror movie. Pretty much the only nitpick I have with it is that we didn’t get to see Wilford Brimley fly around in that tiny spaceship because that would have been both hilarious and awesome.
