This is actually a huge problem for the grapefruit industry right now. They haven’t been successful at getting younger people to eat grapefruit (it’s mostly a time issue) and the older population that did eat grapefruit can’t anymore because of their medications. (I heard a story about this on NPR a while ago)

You shouldn’t ingest grapefruit or grapefruit juice with a lot of medications, actually, as it can wildly interfere with bioavailability (both positively and negatively).

Every lawyer I’ve ever met says to refuse the breathalyzer. Just like invoking your right to not speak, or ask for a lawyer. Doing those things doesn’t make you guilty. Although, that mug shot makes me think, there is def more to this story.

I’m not surprised. From my experience with white female managers in industry, they feel as if they own me (I’m a female woman of color). So anything I did that didn’t involve getting their approval or permission was taken personally.

Totally agree. Here is picture of the principal from the school website wearing a sleeveless top. She is exposing MORE skin than the poor student.

I thought the exact same thing, for the exact same reason!  We spend so much time talking about bully-free zones but creepy teachers and administration can apparently operate within them.

Maybe this is because I just finished watching The Keepers, but the fact that the principal actually said she had to come with him/her to the changing/dressing area gives me pause. I wouldn’t go back with him/her either. That’s really creepy.
