I mean, The Root only posts opinion articles, even when they are news stories. There are no hard news stories on The Root (or on Gizmodo, or AVClub or all the other related sites). That’s just how these sites work, “regular” news doesn’t have snark and jokes when reporting.

Um, you mean a second MAJOR timeline, right?  Because that Man in Black end credits scene showed a far future timeline, and I bet at some point in Season 3 they will revisit that timeline, briefly.

Binge watching it will help a lot, but even then it is still hides the ball too much for too little payoff for my liking.

Season 2 had some amazing moments, but yes, overall, was a mess compared to Season 1. It was trying to be too clever for its own good sometimes, and Bernard and Dolores both “killing” each other and then changing their mind and bringing back who they killed was a bit over the top for me.
