This is embarrassing, there are multiple valid complaints to be made about the show, but from your words up there it sounds like you were looking at your phone 80% of the time rather than watching the show. Which is fine, it’s your choice, but you look like a god damned doofus complaining here when you don’t know

Season 2 had a few great moments but overall was NOT great. I am actually shocked by people who think a season mostly aping the first, but far shittier, is better that what they did in Season 3.

I get what you are saying, but don’t overstate things:

Season 2 overall was significantly worse than Season 3. But Season 2 probably had the best episode of the entire series, the one you mentioned with Akechet, and also the one with the James Delos bits.

This, this is 100% true.

Odd call on Serac. He was actually interesting to me. He was SUCH a true believer in the super AI that he and his brother made, so sure it was THE WAY forward, that it gave humanity its best chance, that he literally voluntarily became the AIs puppet. Going so far as to say everything the AI told him to say.

“Is ERW leaving the show? That seemed like a kind of pretty conclusive type end for Dolores.”

Dolores was the only one in existence in Season 3 who had copies of herself, and the show bent over backwards to show you how said copies quickly diverged from each other.

Also, you can’t put emotional weight on having Dolores “die” when one of the major plot point/reveals of the season was “There are, like, 5 Doloreses now.”

Hey you know what, there are things called books! And a concept called research! And I actually have read quite a bit on memory. So, no, I did not survey everyone, but I have read enough to know to say you (or at least you based on your claim if we take it as true) are far above average when it comes to memory.

So I still haven’t watched it, soured on the sequel trilogy totally.

Well, not sure how I can argue with you about what I can remember or not, I just do.”

Yuuuup, always a problem with these time traveling changing the past movies. Apparently time travel Marty annihilated the Marty the cool parents raised. In the movie time travel Marty clearly has no memories of this new rewritten timeline, which means he basically killed the other Marty and stole his life.

Eh, the time travel “rules” are terribly inconsistent in these movies no matter what. First one makes it seem like a single timeline that can be rewritten like a cassette tape (why else would Marty start disappearing). In the second Doc EXPLICITLY discusses alternate branching timelines.

“I can CLEARLY remember many people from my high school days, even people that were nowhere near as important as Marty was to George and Lorraine”

If it’s some dude they interacted with for a week, on and off during that week, and they have ZERO pictures of him, then yeah, the memory of what he looked like is going to be fuzzy.

“The Trapt guy, meanwhile, is threatening legal action because people, including Talib Kweli, are saying he shit his pants onstage once.”

What in the world are you talking about you doofus? What ** precisely ** is nonsense here? I asked you a simple question, you were dismissive, then I ask again, and you answered but were then even more dismissive. And now here, in your third reply you are insulting my intelligence and questioning my sanity.

Uh lol, I asked a basic question, you literally could have just answered “I think he’s just a troll” the first time, but instead you were dismissive like a fucking jackass. You should question yourself over that choice.
