2/3? Yeah, OK, forget it. You're stuck with the creepy cheeto until he gets bored and steps down.

I'm reading Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky. Though I'm constantly this close to quitting because of the spiders. (I am moderately arachnophobic, but reading about them increases my "there might be a spider somewhere in my bedroom" anxiety significantly, which is annoying and sometimes leads to nightmares.)

I think it's unlikely, but not 100% impossible that they might impeach him (or otherwise try to get him out of office) if he makes enough of a mess. I have to believe that even the GOP may contain a few people who actually want a functioning government, at least while they're in power, and if Trump derails that

Too close to call, that one.

He also has a lovely voice.

Bah. Wonder Woman's costume looks like it's made out of coloured tinfoil.

I recently met someone who really likes Earl Grey. Bloody weirdo.

Maybe you should ask her if she wants to go or not. I mean, she might prefer to keep things fiscally responsible, or she might love you offering her an excuse to irresponsibly splurge on this special occasion.

Oh, and fuck Disqus, which is giving me post salad again already.

Fuck being back from holiday. I need to move somewhere I'm happier than here.

Congratulations!

My copy of Feeding Hannibal arrived today. I am not a foodie. All my friends who are foodies are apparently still waiting for theirs. There's a message in there somewhere…

- No
- Yes
- No
- It's okay!

At this point I'm seriously starting to wonder whether these people really don't know that this is how Hitlers happen (which would be bad), or whether they know and are perfectly OK with it (which would be worse).

After finishing City on Fire I was actually burnt out on reading for a few days, but then I picked up Lions by Bonnie Nadzam, which I am loving. She's a wonderful writer, IMO.

I thought Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children was pretty rubbish. But then I have a more than passing familiarity with Wales, which the author evidently doesn't, so there was no way it wasn't going to annoy me.

Finished season three of Justified. It was a somewhat messy season, I think, though the fact that I (unintentionally) took a fairly long break in the middle probably contributed to that impression. But I absolutely loved the ending.

Condolences.

Whoa. I don't think I'd be able to hold my peace around someone like that, and I'm possibly the world's most confrontation-avoidant person ever.

Holy shitting fuck, she said what now? *googles*
