There was a report about Israel using AI to generate bombing targets in Gaza. The leaker’s accusation is that the targets are often wrong, and that the target generation is used as a foil for inflicting destruction on civilians and infrastructure. One of the dangers of tech solutions is the misconception that tech is

One of my favorite short story collections called “Radicalized” by Cory Doctorow, is has a pretty great take on the uber wealthy retreating to their doomsday vault when things start to get bad. Wouldn’t want to ruin the story, but the collection is a pretty great set of dystopian short stories, worth checking out.

How’s the boot leather taste?

They need to start fixing these whether or not they are under warranty. Its a design flaw.

Don’t be fooled by the best multiplayer award, couch co-op is broken and mediocre. By far the worst couch co-op experience put out by Larian. Beyond the general forced split screen downgrade from their previous outings, and the text being too small to see comfortably, the game is so buggy in couch co-op that we spent a

Venba is available in the humble bundle with 6 other cozy games for $20, or 4 other cozy games for $14

I believe it’s because Microsoft promised feature parity in games between the consoles as a way to calms peoples fears about buying an S and then getting locked out of participating with the second half of the generation. Its less of a big deal for BG3 because the couch co-op, which is what was holding the game back

I’ve had 3 controllers, all gone drifty. The longest one’s lasted before drifting has been 4 months. I play maybe 5 hours a week. They are really bad. I’ve gotten no drift on any playstation controller prior to ps5 and I’ve played ps5 less than every other sony console I’ve owned (all of them but ps2).

I know someone who worked at NetherRealm just as MK got popular again. For the DLC they basically oversee the work done at a company in another country that they pay lower rates for. They made more money on DLC, despite it being a small fraction of the work that went into the original game, than they made on the

I like what little I played, but had to quit because of how many bugs there were in couch co-op. I grabbed this game specifically to play couch co-op and its a huge disappointment compared to previous Larian games in that category. Really hope they get rid of the forced split screen and iron out enough bugs that I can

These days Amazon is like 50% scams. Probably will just be some guy who orders the thing from gamestop to your house after marking it up 100%+.

Yeah, I’m not sure how long this has been used, but the earliest I can remember was ICO using it to layer in a back arch while you were running away from shadow creatures and they started getting too close. Little things like that can make a character feel much more alive. But yeah, not only is it just standard tech,

I found it extremely boring story wise. I think the whole game just had a few quests that I actually found interesting enough to become invested in. I found most of the characters to be insufferable when you meet them, and fail to evolve during the course of the game. I haven’t picked it back up since they fixed it,

My biggest issue was the level scaling. I played through co-op to about level 40 and quit. The game just feels so even that getting more powerful just feels entirely inconsequential.

If they legitimately don’t have big drift issues I may consider coming back to console gaming next gen. I quit after my 3rd ps5 controller got drift. I’m not going to keep paying $70 for controllers that don’t last more than 3 months.

Couch co-op is pretty rough, They ditched the dynamic split screen from Divinity where it only splits when you are further apart than a single screen allows and it just always feels so cramped now.

That has to happen to an extent, but it is wild to charge 10 dollars more for the inferior product.

Also came out on PC

Going to hold off until they fix the drift. Already had two controllers drift on me, one later just died. I miss the days when controllers would last the generation without issues.

Eh, I watched the first two seasons and Cavill’s Geralt is probably the least interesting character in the show. His comically gravely voice is just as annoying to me as Paimon from Genshin. I’d prefer if they killed Geralt off in the first episode and show became an alternate telling about The Witcher universe
