Adding America over a year later to a WW2 game was a stupid decision
Huh? There was almost no momentum. Adding America over a year later to a WW2 game was a stupid decision. A game with only 2 factions to start in a WORLD WAR game was a horrible idea. We were just happy to get something new. But the game took a turn for the worst right at the start with their promoting and got worse…
This is nothing new. Its not like they have people going through searching to weed our copyright content, and most companies seem to be OK with it. They have a disclaimer when you go to start creating and that frees them from any legal repercussions.
At what point does saving face on the international stage matter? These actions might work internally but from our point of view they're ridiculous. Even with an ocean between us to cool it off being laughed at has to burn.
Does the AI goalkeeper still have a blindspot that guarantees a goal 100% of the time?
RDR2 is the best game I never feel like playing. Everything is tedious just for the sake of it, and Death Stranding seems to crank that to 11.
Kirk, this is easily the best game review I’ve ever read, but also the best writing of any kind that I’ve read on this website. I enjoyed your creative narrative prose over the the technical trappings of FPS and other “data.”
This is dumb. If you decided the game was worth $60 when you purchased it, then that’s what it was worth when you purchased it. End of story.
Thank all that is holy in gaming that PUBG didn’t win Game of the Year. When you’re announcing your second map, no matter how big that map is, for your early access title... I don’t care how popular, you deserve no awards yet.
As an original with BF1942 myself....YES!!!! It feels a bit like coming home again.
So fun! I have a great time even when I’m getting wrecked since there are ample opportunities to earn points without necessarily getting kills.
LOL. It’s been like this for a while now.
That’s it I’m going to have to put some money aside for the ps4. Exclusive games (and dlc) like this make it clear that it’s pretty much a must have console at this point
I’m not sure why you would Google enough to be able to discuss the word without Googling enough to learn that the way it was used here is a correct usage.
This sounds like what Neal Stephenson’s swordfighting Kickstarter disaster was trying to do. Though simplified to make it actually work for a video game (that’s part of why CLANG failed, ‘all of swordfighting’ is just too much to tackle all at once).
I really feel that, if you’re going to sell the game at $60, and ask for another $50 for the season pass, then you shouldn’t nickel and dime the shit out of us in the base game. that’s just not okay. If it’s going for a free-to-play model, then make it a free-to-play game. Or at least sell it at $30 or $40. Imagine…

First review on Kotaku Ethan? Don’t think I’ve seen you write one before. Great write up though. I’ve seen a lot of people comment about not liking how “plain” the combat is. And now I don’t need to wrote 3 paragraphs explains it. I can just link this.
Knights is the correct choice. I’m reassured Kotaku is a site I can continue to trust.
