It’s something she would heartily approve of.

Is it totally crass of me to want to check out her estate sale?

Like the moments of reading her books and laughing at loud, I had many laugh out loud Carrie moments in this doc. My favorite was her tour around her home. The photo of her friend at the dentist, the odd Kevin Spaceyd painting on the wall. The couch in the bathroom “as every bathroom should have.”

I take care of my elderly mother, who is 90 and in the early stages of dementia. So far, so good, but she’s not going to live forever. This whole story is very fraught for me as well.

DID EVERYONE IN THE ROOM TURN THEIR WHOLE BODY TO LOOK AT HIM AGAPE????

I really enjoyed this film, and after seeing how unwell Debbie was toward the end, it left me glad that they were able to go on together like they’d done all of Carrie’s life.

I only caught 5 minutes of it, ending with that part. I had to stop. Having lost my mom to Alzheimer’s exactly a year ago ( Debbie passed on my mom’s 1 year gone mark) seeing Carrie scramble to make sure Debbie would be comfortable and protecting her mothers dignity, along with Deb sounding SO frail, I just could not.

I had to walk out. It just touched my heart so much and I couldn’t take it at that moment. Will give this doc another go soon, but fuck, it reminded me so much of myself and my mother.

Yeah I did too. The doc made me feel a bit better about that though. He seems to have a great marriage with his wife and was very accepting of Carrie and Debbie’s special bond.

Wait what? I thought it wasn’t out until this weekend! I have wasted DAYS!

I couldn’t help but feel for Todd after Reynolds died. Like, she couldn’t live without her daughter but was fine leaving Todd behind. And I know, I know, she was in poor health anyway and it’s not like she chose to die the day after Carrie did. I just felt kind of bad for him.

The husband and I watched this the other night. So many little bits (all of them, let’s face it) were unexpectedly emotional given their recent deaths. I thought the doc was great though. It felt very REAL, the opposite of how a lot of cameras into famous people’s lives ends up being. (Looking at you, Kardashians). It

The part where Carrie is preparing for Debbie to get the SAG Lifetime Achievement award was heartbreaking. At that point Debbie was pretty frail but wanted to attend and Carrie is acting as her advocate to make sure she can lie down.

Anthony Weiner not being dead in a ditch or renditioned to a black site in Yemen is proof that Hillary ain’t killed nobody.

Yeah, this fucking blows my mind. His “plan to be successful in life” is inherently flawed.

they aren’t trying hard enough!

he never met people who are married, have kids and live in poverty??? what???

Ben Carson is preaching some thinly-disguised respectability politics. He literally just said he thinks waiting to have children until you’re married will help keep people from living in poverty.

This is cartoon level villainy. Let’s be evil for the heck of it. Being good is boring.

They also voted to include CHIP in the dismantling of the ACA. You know, healthcare for kids. #PROLIFEMYASS
