Helena Bonham Carter on her ex, Tim Burton: “We have something very precious still.”

#EJAMI 4EVA!!

I thought it was fun. And obvious snark. Why grown man so stick up the assey? No Bueno.

Maybe she wasn’t the only one..

hahaha, I’m laughing because I’m picturing my grandmother taking a sharp breath in disapproval. She used to get so peeved with us for picking on or not being respectful of the royal family when we were kids. Especially our insistence that the king looked like a duck. I mean...he does, though

Generalizations are shitty. Twitter gave us a “generalize all you want” ticket, by allowing us to make fun of people who say “not all X” as a quick-and-easy rebuttal for our outgroup homogeneity bias.

He is also so politically misguided he might as well be Sarah Palin. Oh, and so pretentious he might as well be Donald Trump. So yeah, even if the abuse were not an issue, I don’t get it.

Like Murphy, his stuff is ABSOLUTELY a guilty pleasure. His attitude, however...

He’s the gay Quentin Tarantino. With all the baggage that entails.

He’s probably a bigger diva so her antics are nbd to him.

Television: sex scenes and the equivalent of the word “fuck” can be heard and seen on primetime.

America has got almost absolute free speech. Europe doesn’t.

That’s because you’re painfully naive. Bigotry begets violence only after it’s had a good airing and collected lots of adherents standing around talking about how true all these vile things are. Squash in cradle.

If you’re referring to his populism, then yes, I agree.

No, she’s actually worse. Think of a racist, lapsed Catholic David Duke or Phyllis Schafly and you’re close to it. Trump’s an idiot; she actually has some raw intelligence.

There can only be one white Shrek

Exactly, the same reason so many of them are mad at welfare recipients or anyone on government assistance. Someone’s getting something that I’m not getting, so we must blame those who have nothing (and chicks).

It’s an interesting mix of populist politics AND misogyny over there on Reddit/redpill etc. They honestly seem to see women as a shadow society controlling capitalist institutions. I’m not even kidding.

I absolutely understand and agree with your point, but one of the ways I think that Jeffrey Tambor is great casting is that he’s been a staple in American television for decades. That means the viewing audience has developed some sort of attachment/affection/expectation of him as a man.
